chapter 22; " rain shower "

                                    

                                          
October 1st, 5:00 AM 
Y/n's alarm rung in her ears as her eyes squinted up, the daylight peeking from the the gaps of the curtains went straight into her eyes, her eyelashes fluttered as Y/n woke up, hair messy and her clothes uncomfortable. She sat up on the bed, throwing the blanket off her as her feet landed on the ground, she stood up and wore her slippers as she walked into the bathroom, throwing her clothes off her body as she hung them on the hanger in the bathroom. She turned the water on and let it fill the bathtub with boiling water. She brushed her teeth until then and finally got into the bath, washing away all her worries and discomfort. She let herself sink in even further, being lost in the warm water.

5:34 AM

Y/n walked out of the bathroom with black shorts and an off shoulder long sleeved Grey sweater. She let the warm breeze of the hair dryer dry her hair as she finished quickly and brushed her hair, walking downstairs and pouring herself a cup of water before gulping it down. After filling her thirst she was ready to get ready for the day. 
She walked towards the fridge and took out the Desserts. She took the chocolate cupcakes and placed them on the large table where the girls would be gathering, walking back to the fridge and grabbing two trays of tiramisu. Coming back to the fridge every time until the table was filled with Desserts. 
She sighed as she was finally done with setting up the table, she went ahead and opened the cabinet and grabbed party poppers, she placed them on the table and grabbed the balloons with the number one and five, making it '15' 
She let them out of her hands as they floated up along with the other balloons, joining the stars that were hung.  
Y/n looked over the stuff, refilling some new balloons so it wouldn't look any less, she blew into some of them and used the helium for some or them. Now it looked like the first floor was just made for partying and celebration. She went over to the cabinet to grab the candles just to not be able to find them, she panicked as she looked everywhere, getting on top of the chair to see if she placed it on top of the fridge but it was nowhere to be found nor seen. "Fuck" Y/n sibilated as she ran to the door and opened it quietly, putting on whatever she could find as she grabbed a pair of black crocs and sped towards the market.

Hyunjin woke up at five because of the builders who were working on the football field on the first floor, the drilling noises filled his ears and it was not very pleasing. He sighed as he sat up on his bed shirtless, the mirror placed infont of his bed showing him how messy he looked. He grunted as he threw the covers off him and walked over to the bathroom.

After finally being fully awake, he threw a shirt over himself, not buttoning it as he walked out of his room to the balcony where he puffed cigarette like it was his morning routine. 


Back to Y/n, she rushed out of her house in shorts and slippers. She ran over to the local market but devastation hit her as she saw that it was not open yet. She backed up from the door, a sudden water drop landed on her shoulder. She looked over her shoulder before more droplets started falling, the cement underneath her filling up with small rain drops. "What the- it didn't say it was going to rain today" Y/n scoffed, without any intention to cover herself from the rain she walked to the market pacted in another neighborhood where the most expensive apartments were built. 
5:53 AM and the rain sped up, the harsh sounds of the water droplets hitting the house roofs filled the street as Y/n got soaked. 'I better make it home before Da-hye wakes up' Y/n thought as she finally made it to the market, quickly grabbing the custom candles, a few unique ones caught her eyes as she saw kitten candles. She grabbed whichever one looked good and brought them up to the desk.
