"So this is how we're going to do this." Kisame spoke as he adjusted his sword on his back. Itachi was still staring at me and I pretended not to notice his piercing gaze on my back. What's his problem anyway?

This is how this entire thing happened. To put it simply, Pein had ordered us to scout Orochimaru's hideout because he was up to no good and it was hurting the organization. He had me tag along with them just to give me a sort of experience how they did things here.

More importantly this place looks nothing like my world. The buildings looked weird, the landscape looked weird, there's no level E vampires here so I would probably starve to death without ever going back to my world.

But the worst part is there is no map so I have no idea where I'm going and how to get back. Which would have been good to know if their leader would have told me. Now I miss my Night Class friends cause they have a more deadly aura then these armatures.

In no time we were standing in front of the entrance that led underground to the man we were after. Just as we walked in the stench of blood knocked the wind out of me. This blood was different from my world. It smelled divine than the average human and the rotting corpses.

I quickly took off towards the smell, leaving the other two behind to do their work. Pein never said I had to help them so I guess its okay if I left for a quick snack. My dress flowed around me as the smell of blood came near.

I stopped in front of a door and opened it just to get pressed up against the wall with a sword to my throat. I stared into red eyes with a weird black pattern in them, strange how this world works. I returned the gesture with my own red eyes before they trailed down the person's body to the wound on his arm.

I licked my lips slightly and he let me go, backing away slowly. I summoned a strong wind and it knocked the blade out of his hand while I pinned him to the wall. "What are you?" Was all he asked as my fangs glinted in the dim light.

"You'll find out." I bit into his arm and he yelled out before trying to shake me off, but the deed had already been done. I drank until I was full before letting him go. He slumped to the ground and tried to get up but I suppose his strength had been sucked out with his blood.

"I knew you had a different aura than the rest of us." I looked behind me to see Itachi standing there. "Itachi! What are you doing here!" The boy in front of me tried to reach for his weapon but I made sure to put it where he couldn't reach it. "I have to avenge my clan!"

"Is there any way you can make him forget or pass out?" Itachi asked while gesturing to the boy. I nodded my head and placed my hand on his head. My hand glowed purple as the boy's eyes started drooping and a few seconds later he was unconscious.

"Do you know him Itachi?" I asked him while we set the boy down on his bed before we left to find Kisame. Itachi stayed quiet for a few moments. "Can you keep a secret?" I nodded my head. "If it's really deep and have valuable meaning behind it."

"He's actually my younger brother and I told him to kill me when he got older because I massacred our clan." Hmmm. He's so blunt about it, but since he said it anyway why not ask him? "How come you killed your own clan?" Itachi stayed silent, probably reluctant to answer. When I was about to give up he turned to me.

"It was an order." And we left it at that, having our teammate shown up soon after. So he killed his clan because it was an order. Can I kill my parents if it was an order? Probably not. I love them too much to harm them, and that might have been his case too.

Maybe something other than an order forced him to do it. If he left his brother alive that could me the person who gave him the order would have killed him as well if Itachi hadn't agreed. Aww. Brotherly love. I don't have any siblings so I wouldn't know what that would feel like, but maybe I would love them as much nothing hurts them.

"You two left me to deal with Orochimaru alone." Kisame sulked as he walked by us, not even making eye contact. Itachi and I looked at each other before shrugging and following the older male. "So how did it go?"

"I destroyed every single one of his blueprints and potions of all kinds, almost got my shark skin dirty." Kisame petted the sword on his back and I swear it moved. Are swords supposed to move anyway?

No one said anything on the walk home to the base, but I felt something was waiting for me there. But not something....to be specific....someone.

"Kaname-san" I stood at the door to leader's room. As soon as I opened the door I recognized the figure immediately, playing chess with the Akatsuki leader. "You finally came back." He turned his head to look at me.

"What are you doing here though? Is it Rima? She's going to kill me right?" I ran through some possibilities. "Wait no. Is it Kaien? He's mad I skipped school right?!" I started freaking out, thinking how much homework is piled up on my desk. I've only been gone a week.

"Both of those theories are correct. And checkmate." Kaname spoke as he set his piece down on the board. Pein slowly nodded his head. "Just come back when I need you." Was all he said as I was ushered out of the room by my cousin.

"So how did you find me?" I asked him while we trekked back to the entrance of the portal. "You left your scent on the door." Oh yeah. I kind of forgot about that already. "But then how did you find the hideout?"

"Your scent was on the ground too." That makes our species sound like a tracking dog! But it hasn't rained anytime this week so that was lucky for me. He led the way into the tunnel and opened the door for me. Once I went through I instantly knew I made a mistake coming back.

Because Rima was standing there with a frown evident on her face.
