***1 Week Later***
I got off the bus excited that Mason was back. I looked around for him. Next thing I know I'm being swept of my feet and spun around. Mason. I laugh and smile and I was soon put on my feet. "Hey baby girl." "Hey." "Miss me?" "Of course! As always." "I missed you too." He grabbed me by my hips and kissed my cheek. I smiled as my eyes closed. He smirked. He took my hand and we walked in the school. As soon as we walked in, girls were mugging me left and right. I kissed his cheek just to tease them. I saw my best friends and we all ran up to each other. "Why are you with him?" Amanda asks. "What you mean?" I ask. Chelsea shakes her head. I stare at them blankly. "He's not right for you, Becca." Chelsea says. I stare at them with rage. "What?! So I finally meet a guy and yall want me to get with him and now you don't want that? He makes me happy!" I yelled. Chelsea states at me blankly and Amanda rolls her eyes while looking away from me. "Forget it! I make my own decisions. I don't need yall at all. Got it? Yall just friends. Mason is my mate." I snap. "Wait!" Chelsea says but I storm off not even wanting to hear what she had to say. They make me sick! "Baby what's wrong?" Mason asks. "My so called best friends. They can be so selfish! They said you weren't right for me and stuff but yet they encouraged me to get with you. Now that I love you, they don't wanna see us together." I yell. Mason stares me down. "Forget them. If they don't wanna support your dreams, then what good are they." Mason says. "Exactly!" I say throwing my hands up. "You'll be fine. If you need me to be your best friend and boyfriend, I can be. I will too." He says kissing my forehead. "Thanks Mason." "You're welcome Rebecca." Maybe Masons right. All I maybe do need is him.
