The early morning sunlight filtered into Ishan's new room, casting a warm glow over the small boy still curled up under his blanket. He slowly opened his eyes, squinting at his surroundings, the unfamiliar space momentarily disorienting him. Just then, there was a soft knock on the door, and Pankhuri peeked in.

"Good morning, beta! Uth gaye?" she said softly, walking over to the bed and gently smoothing down his messy hair.

Ishan blinked up at her, his face still slightly flushed from the fever, but he managed a small, shy smile. "Good morning," he mumbled, clutching the edge of his blanket.

Pankhuri's heart melted. "Acha, chale? Fresh hoke aate hain?" she suggested, taking his hand. "Phir hum sab milkar breakfast karenge."

As she led him to the bathroom attached to his room, Ishan hesitated. "Aap... meri mama ho?" he asked in a small, uncertain voice.

" Do you want me to be ?? " Pankhuri asked smiling softly.

Ishan's faced scrunched, a cute pout adorned his face. Then he smiled shyly and nodded.

" Then I'm your Mama baby. And Krunal will be your dada. " She said, her heart feeling full and contented with happiness and love.

Once he was freshened up and dressed, Pankhuri held his hand and walked with him toward the dining room, where Krunal, Ritika, and Rohit were waiting.

"Hey, champ!" Krunal greeted him warmly. "Aaj kaise feel ho raha hai?"

Ishan shrugged a little, glancing down, not quite sure how to respond.

Pankhuri settled him on the chair and introduce everyone. " Ishu, that's Rohit your bade papa, Ritik your bade maa and these two are your chachus, Hardik and Jassi. "

Ritika noticed his hesitation and leaned forward with a gentle smile.

"Kya tumhe breakfast mein pancakes pasand hain, Ishan?" she asked, hoping to make him feel at ease.

"Pancakes?" he whispered, a hint of curiosity lighting up his eyes.

"Yes! Chocolate wale pancakes. Tumhe pasand aayenge," Rohit added with a wink, making Ishan smile just a little bit more.

They sat down, and Pankhuri made sure Ishan had a plate full of pancakes, cut up into small, manageable bites. He took a cautious bite and his eyes brightened.

"Yeh... accha hai," he whispered, looking up at Pankhuri, who was watching him with a loving smile.

"Kaha tha na tumhe pasand aayenge?" she chuckled, ruffling his hair.

As they ate, Jassi tried to engage him in conversation. "Toh, Ishan, tumhe khelna pasand hai? Kaunsa game khelte ho?"

Ishan looked up, a faint spark in his eyes. "Football... aur kabhi kabhi... hide and seek."

"Arre wah! Football!" Krunal said, pretending to be impressed. "You know, yahan sabko football khelna pasand hai. Tum hamare saath kheloge?"

Ishan hesitated, but finally nodded, a small smile tugging at the corners of his mouth.

Pankhuri squeezed Krunal's hand under the table, mouthing, "Good job," as Ishan continued to eat with a bit more enthusiasm. They could all see he was still nervous, but the fear in his eyes was slowly fading, replaced by a growing trust.
