The planet of Coal shook at the immense power of King Slug. Adorning his new Orange transformation. Bardock and Vegeta gritted their teeth and prepared for the fight of their lives. Nappa and Zarbon despite not knowing how to sense energy just knew that THIS was why Slug lacked concern for the likes of Frieza. Slug was in a whole other league by comparison.
"How bad is it..." Vegeta asked, knowing Bardock's ability to sense power levels could tell him just how concerned he should be...
"Bad..." Bardock said softly as Vegeta raised his guard even further. "It might be time to do that other technique I showed you..."
*gulp* "No chance! We're Super Saiyans. No need to take it that far!" Vegeta argued. Referencing their last minute training sessions before setting off for Slug.
Nail looked on in absolute shock. His inner monologue kicking in for fear of Slug hearing him and taking swift retribution on him.
Where did this come from? Were we really this in over our heads the whole time!?
King Slug cracked his knuckles. Standing there relaxed as if he'd already won. Which essentially he had. Though the increase in power from this transformation wasn't as big for Slug as it would've been for piccolo in another life. He'd still see a power increase the likes of Super Saiyan 2, maybe stronger...
"Well boys..." Slug said having moved on to cracking his neck. "I believe in chess it'd be your move!" he chuckled.
"Grrrrr!"
Vegeta was angry. He threw his arms out in a horizontal fashion as if to quickly draw energy from his body into his hands. He then thrust them together as a flash of of yellow, electrifying energy began to gather in his hands.
"Alright then!"

Bardock took notice of this and knew that this attack alone, no matter how powerful wouldn't be enough. He then began preparing a Spirit Cannon. His signature Ki attack he'd used in his confrontation with Frieza.
