MENTIONS OF CHILD ABUSE!

"Ross Dennis, the best peds surgeon the country is coming to work with us. We have to make a good first impression, he's an award winning surgeon. The only surgeon to have ever won three Harper Avery awards." Dr. Webber explains to the group of attendings and residents sat in the conference room with a picture of Ross Dennis collecting his most recent Harper Avery is plastered behind him.

"He's not just the winner of three Harper Avery awards, but he is a close friend of the Avery family, making appearances to surgical awards and conferences with Catherine Avery and her son, Jackson Avery." Derek stared at the man on the board behind him instead of listening to the chief. God he was handsome.

"Any questions?" Dr. Webber asks as he finally finishes yapping to the surgeons. Callie Torres, a surgical resident raised her hand. Webber pointed to her with an expecting smile.
"How can he be that talented and be hot?" Webber seemed flabbergasted, while everyone else just seemed to agree with her.

"I mean, all surgeons are good looking, but he makes us look bad." Someone else adds, creating a chaos of everyone speaking over each other about how attractive the doctor was.

The chatter only died when Ross Dennis himself walked into the room, wearing a tight pair of scrubs that perfectly exposed his toned abs and his hair done in an effortlessly enticing way.

"Hi.." Ross awkwardly introduced himself to the chief, offering him his free hand, for his other was holding his bag down by his side.

"Everyone, this is Ross Dennis, Dr. Dennis, this is everyone." Webber smiles awkwardly from Ross to the others whine still holding Ross's hand in a handshake.

Ross pulls away and takes a seat at the end of the table between Callie and Derek and looks at the photo of himself he had previously missed.

"Is that... me?" He looked around in confusion, was this a cult? Why did they have a photo of him printed up on the wall?

"Well... yes, but it's not creepy! We're just... fans." Webber tried explaining, making Ross laugh slightly.
"I'm sorry, I've just... a photo of me on a wall? That's a memorable first impression.." Everyone awkwardly laughs at his words.

"Well, the interns should be arriving soon, why don't you all go and start." Webber excuses them. They all stand and neatly walk out of the room, some still whispering about how Ross is better looking in real life.

Ross walks up to the peds floor and waits for the interns assigned to him for the day.
"This is Dr. Dennis." Bailey explains as she walks over to him with a group of six interns following her like a lost puppy. "He is the head of peds, a very famous surgeon and a record-breaker on how many Harper Avery's he has won, you need him to like you or we won't like you." Ross watches them stand a few feet from him with wide eyes, did they really think he was that important?

"Yang, Karev and Grey, you have been assigned to Dr. Dennis's station for the day, lucky you." The small woman made her way back through the hall with the three interns who weren't assigned to him still following on, Carter who was among those three, turning back to give his brother a wave, in which Ross returned. He turned to look at the three given to him and looked over each one.

"Is she always that mean?" He asked, referring to Bailey. The three shared a confused glance before nodding.
"There's a reason they call her the Nazi." The boy of the three spoke up, making both the girls roll their eyes.

"First patient on the list today is a three year old girl, Ellie, she has an ongoing issue that no doctor—so far— has managed to detect and treat." Ross started walking towards the direction of the girls room, assuming the three interns would follow. They did.
