Dinner table,
Avni kept asking about Abhimanyu and Akshara's worklife and their likings. 
Akshara - Dad, when did you decided that you want to give this relationship another chance? 
Harsh - When me and Abhimanyu were looking for you, Abhimanyu went to someone to get a clue about your whereabouts that's when i saw her. I tried to get in touch but she ignored me. 
Avni - He kept pestering me until i didn't give in. He told me he was divorced and just want to talk to me as friends. 
Akshara (chuckled)-  Let me guess, it wasn't a friendly chat when you did decided to sit together was it? 
Harsh - It was, we just got close over time it was her apartment where we stayed in delhi. 
Abhi - I thought it was your friend's?
Harsh - She was the friend.
Akshara (raised her brows teasing Harsh) - Was? Now what? 
Harsh didn't replied.
Akshara - So, what are you guys thinking ? Like what's the big plan now? 
Avni (looking at harsh)  - I don't know, we didn't give it a thought yet.
Abhi (looked at harsh) - Let me tell you that dad already did the thinking part. 
Akshara - I mean does dad going to move out or are you going to move in. I prefer the latter though. 
Harsh - Akshara please, isn't it too early. 
Akshara - Dad, it's actually quite late. You guys were college sweethearts. Aunty, where are you staying ?
Avni - I rented an apartment. 
Akshara - How about you move in with us? 
Abhi looked at Akshara questioningly while Avni was taken aback by her question. 
Harsh - Akshara...
Akshara (shrugged) - You guys are overreacting. Look we want to know each other better if we are going ahead with this. And with all of us having busy schedules it's hard to plan to meet regularly. 
Abhi (thought for moment then spoke) - And i am guessing if things are already this forward that dad wanted us to meet you, Aunty, then i guess it's no point delaying the inevitable. Let's just stay with us and we all will have a chance to know each other. So, it will be easy for everyone to make a decision for the future. 
Akshara - I think they already took their decision, Abhi. Dad just wanted us to approve of it. But dad you don't need our approval. 
Harsh looked towards Abhimanyu raising his eyebrows in question. 
Abhi (shrugged) - Yeah, that's right. If you are happy, then that is all that matters. We just wanted to know Aunty a little more. Maybe we could just work out as a family. 
Harsh looked at both Akshara and Abhimanyu proudly, he tried to stop his tears keeping his head down while Avni held his hand and gave him reassuring look. 
Avni - Thanks a lot kids. This means a lot. You guys are so sweet and lovely just as Harsh described. But Abhimanyu you have my heart, beta. Both Harsh and me are worried about your reaction, i mean Manjri was your mother and it would be okay if you don't approve of us, we will respect your wishes.
Abhi - It's alright, aunty. I won't lie to you, it's a little awkward for me but i know in my heart you guys aren't wrong. And you deserve your happy ending after waiting for this long. You never got married because of my dad and i think you both deserve this now.
