"What's up with Hotch recently?" I ask, cocking my head over at him storming around upstairs. "He's been a bit more snappy than usual don't you think?"
"I heard him and Hayley are getting a divorce," Reid says, glancing in the direction of my gaze.
"Oh.. Yeah, that'll do it," I mutter, turning back to my laptop. "I don't understand how divorced parents do it. How do you share lives wanting nothing to do with each other?"
"I'm sure it doesn't end in bad terms for everyone," Reid says, receiving an eyebrow raise from me. "Just the majority?" I laugh slightly and shake my head.
"This job is enough work as it is, imagine going home and still not even being able to rest. It all seems a lot to deal with if you ask me," I say, typing something into my laptop.
"What? Having a family?" Reid asks. I pause, shrugging at him. "I don't think it's supposed to feel like a chore." I laugh at this slightly and nod.
"Well, the idea clearly appeals to some," I say, turning back to Reid, raising an eyebrow again. "What about you?"
