A week passed by and it was the day before Taehyung finally would find his mate. He was quick anxious as who his mate would be. If it would really be Jungkook or someone else. While on the other hand Jungkook was very much excited for midnight when Taehyung would find out Jungkook actually was his mate. 
Amongst all this the Queen's and King's of both Silvermist and Avalonia were worried about the constant appearance of unknown rouges on the boundaries of Avalonia. Currently all four of them were in the office to discuss about the matter "It's very much unusual for rouges to hover around the boundaries but not attack. We don't even know from which kingdom or pack they belong to" Iseul's voice was laced with frustration. They were unable to detect the identify of these rouges. 
"By now I'm definitely sure that they are searching for something but what exactly are the searching for?" Jinyoung muttered. Bora and Somi were also thinking when suddenly Bora widened her eyes. Somi who noticed Bora's tensed demeanor nudged her "What's wrong?" She asked gaining Jinyoung and Iseul's attention. Bora looked at Somi with troubled face 
"It's Taehyung's 18th birthday and today at midnight he would find his mate" Bora's words left other's confused as to what she was talking about. "Jinyoung it's Taehyung's birthday when his true identity would reveal" everyone's eye's widened when they understood what Bora wanted to tell. 
"That means the rouges" Somi mumbled with shock "The rouges are here for Taehyung" Iseul completed her words "Honey they are here for my baby. What do they want from him?" By now Bora was fully panicked. 
Jinyoung sensing his mate's fear and restlessness spread his calming pheromones that would soothe Bora. He then gently held her hands "Calm down, nobody would be able to take our son away or harm him. We are here to protect him" Jinyoung comforted Bora hugging her. Bora gradually calmed down by being in her mate's warm embrace and comforting scent. 
"We need to increase the security for today's feast" Somi reminded to which Iseul nodded his head "I will have the security tightened and we need to keep an eye on Taehyung. We cannot neglect any kind of suspicion. If you feel like someone's acting suspicious act quickly" Iseul said his voice hard to which others too agreed. 
"But we need to find out from where did they came from. Otherwise it may be harmful for us later by not knowing about their strength or anything related to them" Jinyoung said and Iseul hummed in agreement and thought about something. 
Back in Taehyung's room, he was getting ready for the party as it was already nighttime and the party would begin in an hour. He was worried sick thinking about his mate. He didn't want anyone other than Jungkook to be his mate. He was so lost in his thoughts that he didn't notice the scent present in his chamber. He was snapped back to reality when a pair of hand held his waist from behind. He looked up in the mirror to see Jungkook staring at him through the mirror. 
Taehyung was wearing a white V neck dress that embraced his curves on the right places, a white cape on his shoulder, shining blue earnings and a tiara embedded with blue Sapphire. "You're looking so beautiful sugar. Do you plan to kill me by looking this much stunning" Jungkook whispered which made Taehyung shudder because Jungkook's hot breath was fanning over his neck. His cheeks got coated with pink hue making Jungkook chuckle. 
"What are you doing here?" Taehyung asked freeing himself from Jungkook's arm and turning towards him. That's when he noticed Jungkook's outfit. Jungkook was wearing a black shirt with long black leather jacket and black fitted pants. A cape was drapped on his shoulder long enough to drag behind him and a black boot. 
Jungkook was dressed totally opposite of Taehyung which made them look like a power couple. The male looked smoking hot in that outfit which made Taehyung gulp. Jungkook smirked when he saw Taehyung checking him out. "Done checking me out?" He said in his deep voice causing Taehyung's blush to deepen upon being caught staring. 
"You still didn't answer my question?" Taehyung asked looking away trying to divert Jungkook's attention. "Turn back" Jungkook said to which Taehyung looked confused so Jungkook himself turned him back. 
Then Jungkook reached out to his pocket and bring out a necklace. He wrapped the necklace around Taehyung's neck and hooked it. Taehyung's face was masked with shock when he saw the necklace. It was a four clover necklace with white diamond and a rare blue Sapphire. This type of necklace was particularly used for courting "This necklace" Taehyung whispered with teary eyes holding the necklace 
"I know what you're thinking and you're thinking right" Jungkook replied in a hushed tone and gently kissed Taehyung's neck on his scent gland later nosing there scenting Taehyung making Taehyung inhale a shaky breath. Taehyung turned around and looked in Jungkook's eyes which was swirling with different emotions. 
"You know I'm going to find my mate in a few hours" Taehyung murmured in a slightly broken tone causing Jungkook's heart ache   
"I know but I want to let you know that I want to court you so would you give me the chance to court you if I'm your mate?" Jungkook cupped Taehyung's face. Taehyung leaned in his touch with closed eyes "I will" he answered which brought a huge bunny smile on Jungkook's face. He gently placed his lips on Taehyung's forehead giving him a loving peck conveying his emotions. 
"Let's go they must be waiting for us downstairs" Jungkook held Taehyung's hand and they both went to the backyard where the party was arranged. A lot of people were already present there. Many royal and elite families from others kingdoms too were invited. "Tae here" Jin called when he saw Taehyung looking around 
"Go I'll be here" Jungkook said leaving Taehyung's hand making him pout at the lost of the warmth of the elders hand but still didn't say anything and went towards his friends. 
Jungkook too went to where Namjoon, Yoongi and Hobi were chatting. "You're late for your own party" Lisa said once Taehyung joined them. "Sorry it took a little more time to get ready" Taehyung said in a cute tone melting others hearts. "Awww you're looking gorgeous as hell. I bet many would faint seeing your beauty" Jin winked at him playfully. 
Taehyung noticed that Jimin was silent and was staring at his neck making him nervous "Is that what I think it is Kim Taehyung?" Jimin finally looked up at Taehyung with a mischievous look. Taehyung instinctively brought his hand to his neck catching Lisa and Jin's eyes who gasped seeing the necklace 
"Isn't that a royal courting gift!" Lisa exclaimed wide eyed making Taehyung go red "Who gave it to you? No let me guess Jungkook gave it to you right?" Jimin wriggled his eyebrows in a teasing manner. 
"Did Jungkook gave it to you?" Jin asked to which Taehyung slowly nodded his head but shut his eyes when other three squealed loudly"Guys stop it people are looking" Taehyung said embarrassed when he saw people looking towards them. It took quite a few minutes for Jimin, Jin and Lisa to calm down. 
But once they calmed down the teased Taehyung saying they knew something was going on between them. They were talking and teasing among themselves when an unpleasant scent of coffee beans caught their nostrils. They looked up to see a man dressed elegantly looking at them with a sweet smile 
"Greetings my Prince I'm Lee Daehyun. Congratulations on your special day" Daehyun extended his hands towards Taehyung who looked at others then hesitantly forwarded his hands. Daehyun smiled and was going to kiss the back of Taehyung's hand but Taehyung pulled out before he could 
Daehyun gritted his teeth but maintained a fake smile trying to mask the humiliation. "Forgive me to make you uncomfortable" he bowed like a gentleman. "It's alright please enjoy the feast" Taehyung said politely while Jimin and Jin were glaring at Daehyun and Lisa was looking at him with sharp eyes. 
"My Prince if you don't mind can I have a moment with you" Daehyun asked trying to get some alone time with Taehyung. Before Taehyung could protest a sharp voice cut through "No need Tae is not comfortable with you" Lisa  saw how Taehyung was uncomfortable with the man so she shielded Taehyung standing in front of him.   
"Leave from here" Jin said glaring at Daehyun with eyes shining blue along with Jimin. Daehyun was about to say something when Taehyung's necklace caught his eyes. He clenched his fist upon realizing the meaning of the necklace and went away without another word.
