Before Amber realize what, she had said, Lynn stood up shocked at her best friend's choice of words and said, "what's that mean...I just met him"
"Shit", Amber utters 
"Amber what is going on?", Lynn asked her best friend with an obviously hint of fear in her voice 
"Wait let me finish telling you everything...ok" as she stood and held her best friends' hands to calm her down. Lynn nod and sat back down.
"My parents are the former werewolf king and queen and years ago they pass that responsibility down to Shane. My parents are mates...or soul mates...meaning they were made by the Goddess for each other, we know that because of the pull they feel when around each other. It is stronger than anything in this world. A mate is someone that would do anything for you, crave your every being, protect you with their lives, and in extreme cases...they will kill for you. 
Lynn gasp...with wide eyes...shaking her head thinking about how ridiculous her best friend sound right now...waiting for her best friend to say...ha...fooled you...or something to make this itch in her head that's telling her everything coming out of her best friend's mouth is true. 
"Today", Amber continues, "when Shane met you...his wolf immediately recognizes you as his soul mate. That's why he blurted out, 'mate' when he first saw you...and just now...I saw you two on that dance floor...you can't tell me you didn't feel anything??", Amber asked her best friend.
All she mutters was "no...no no no no no"...Lynn up on feet pacing around the living room area..."no Amber...no...I don't even know your brother...and this is getting weird..."
Amber then looks up at her best friend and said, "yet you're not denying you felt something..."
Silence as the two best friends stared at each other.
"Show me proof?" demanded Lynn at her best friend
"What?", reply to Amber
"Okay fine I'll believe you...but you have to show me your werewolf side Amber Lee Knight", Lynn demanded glaring at her best friend daring her to show some proof of everything she just said
After contemplating for a minute, Amber finally said, "fine" as she took off her shoes, strip off her dress and started taking off her undergarments
"Whoa..." Lynn turned away, "yo...I don't think that proves anything...also I'm not into that shit" as she put her hands up to cover her eyes
The sound of bones breaking made Lynn turned to see her best friend's body mangled, bones tearing at her skin and fur started sprouting covering her skin while her face pushed out into a snout as her teeth popped out of her mouth.  
"WHAT THE FU**" she screamed and back away from the beast but fell backwards as her left leg tripped over her right leg sending her butt hitting the floor hard. Her eyes wide, fear creeping out into her stomach as her hands moved around for some support or something she can use to defend herself with...instantly regretting not carrying her pepper spray with her. As the beast strolled towards her hovering above as she lay on her back muttering, "shit shit shit shit shit...", closing her eyes waiting for her life to end, but instead she felt the best's tongue licking her face...she looked up as a blotched of saliva drip down onto her eyes...she winces and froze. The beast walked away towards the couch, and she sat back up, her eyes froze on the beast as she sees the beast's fur slowly transforming into her best friend's hair and limbs extended out of beasts' arms and claws. Still in shocked she didn't notice that she's starring at her best friend's naked body.
Amber cough, pulling Lynn out of the trance she was in, and the first thing out of her mouth was, "did you just licked me?"
Amber burst out laughing as she grabbed her dress and put it back on.
