After dinner everyone pitched in to help do the dishes together, before going their separate ways to put their gifts away. "Ok! Our laundry's going Kar." Lena said as she walked out of the laundry room. "Ok, Alex and Andi are putting their stuff away." Kara replied. "What should we do now?" Lena asked as she wrapped her arms around Kara's neck. "I think we should make some hot cocoa and watch some more Christmas movies." Kara suggested. "Ok, that sounds good. Let's go make some, we can try out our new blanket." Lena added. "Yes we can." Kara whispered before placing a kiss on Lena's lips.A little while later everyone was on the sofa with mugs of coca in their hands as they watched Elf. "This has been another amazing Christmas." Andrea said. "Even without the snow." Alex added. "Yea..." Everyone chorused in agreement. 
"When does Lucinda and everyone else  return?" Eliza asked. "Not till Tuesday." Lena said. "Oh just in time to celebrate the new year." Andrea said. "Yea." Lena replied. "I can't wait for new years, basketball championships, new articles to write, softball practice starting up again." Kara exclaimed. "You are the only one who gets excited for school to start up." Alex grumbled. "Was she like this when you were kids?" Andrea asked. "Yes! It was annoying!" Alex groaned. "Oh you're still mad because I told mom that our Biology teacher had already posted the grades for that test!" Kara replied rolling her eyes.
"It was a very important test! And as my sister...you should have rolled with my lie!" Alex whined. Everyone burst out laughing, even Eliza laughed along with them. "It was one test! It's not my fault you got a sixty five on it." Kara stated. "Blah! Blah! Blah! Shut up miss I was almost on the science guild!" Alex grumbled.
