midterms had been a brutal two weeks for rinzu, but somehow, she made it through. the sleepless nights, the endless hours hunched over her desk, and the caffeine-fueled cram sessions, all of it paid off.

she felt confident about the results, even though they wouldn't be out for another few weeks. but for now, she was just happy for a break, even if she had the heavy eyebags to prove it. her only real craving now? coffee. lots of it.

"thank you, yoonju." she said, offering a tired smile as the waitress set down her coffee on the table.

yoonju, the shy but sweet high school senior who worked part-time at the cafe near campus, smiled back. "just let me know if you need anything." she replied, giving rinzu a small nod before heading back to the counter.

rinzu admired her for a moment, remembering how yoonju had once mentioned she was saving up for university. her japanese had improved a lot too as she noticed.

yoonju was a bit younger and still figuring things out, but she had the determination and intelligence. it was hard not to root for her.

taking a sip of her coffee, she turned her attention to the window. it was early. one of those calm tuesday mornings where she didn't have classes and could actually breathe for once.

the streets were mostly empty, with only a few people walking by, wrapped up in their own worlds. she spotted a stray cat wandering along the sidewalk, pausing to stretch in the sunlight.

"good day to be a cat." she muttered to herself, smiling as she watched the little furball continue on its lazy stroll. she leaned back in her chair, enjoying the rare moment of peace.

with her coffee warming her hands and the warm atmosphere of the cafe, it felt like she was finally reconnecting with the world outside of fabric, textbooks, and deadlines.

she could actually relax. well, for now. who knew how long that feeling would last?

just as she was sinking comfortably into the quiet of her morning, something caught her eye outside the café. her heart skipped a beat as she spotted suna walking by. with a woman.

instinctively, she straightened up in her seat, eyes widening as she watched them stroll side by side, seemingly deep in conversation. wait... who is that?

rinzu's mind raced as she tried to place the woman. she had long dark brown hair, a nice smile, and was... wow, really pretty.

she found herself staring a bit too hard, her mind jumping to possible explanations. maybe it was his sister? no, it definitely wasn't. cousin, maybe?

her eyes widened even more as the last possibility hit her. GIRLFRIEND?!

immediately sitting up straighter, she craned her neck to get a better look. she couldn't tear her eyes away from the sight of suna walking with the woman.
