Chapter 30 "Hangovers, A Phone Call to England, and The Assistant"

                                    

                                          
Tuesday September 7th, 2027
Xylo's POV
I slowly open my eyes to find myself laying on Cal. I slowly try to get off him without waking him up. Everything is loud.... I probably drank too much last night which I haven't done in a long time.
Cal slowly opens his eyes and mumbles "Xylo...?"
"Morning Cal... what exactly happened last night?" I ask in a soft voice.
"Nothing much besides you were being extremely clingy last night" Cal said as he sits up.
"Sorry about that- ugh..... stupid hangover..." I groaned as I place my hand on my head.
"I'll make something for the hangover, you hang tight" Cal says as he quickly gets out of bed and heads downstairs. I lay back down for a little, now remembering that I have to meet with Andrea about something important, again. She has been wanting to talk about a lot of important things which is a little unusual of her.....
Cal walks in with a cup of coffee. He sits on the side of the bed and hands the coffee to me. I sit back up and take a sip of coffee.
"Thanks Cal" I say to him. I take another sip as rubs my back a little.
"You sure nothing else happened last night?" I questioned. 
Cal looks away and says "Nope! Nothing happened I don't know what you're talking about."
I blink a few times then take a slow sip of my coffee, now extremely suspicious of Cal. I stare at him with suspicion and Cal responds with "Don't look at me like that, I swear nothing happened."
"Uh-huh..." I said before taking another slow sip. Cal gives me an annoyed look and flicks me on my forehead.
"Ow- what was that for?" I asked as I placed my hand over where Cal flicked me.
"The slow sip, and you just staring at me with a suspicious look" Cal said.
"Eh fair, so I got a question for you" I said, feeling the headache starting to fade. (This scene may not be factually correct)
"What's the question?" Cal asks.
"Do you wanna come with me to see Andrea?" I asked him before taking another sip of coffee.
"I would love to but I need to call Serena later and I think it may take a while" Cal says.
"Is Serena back from her trip?" I questioned.
"Yep, today or I should say last night was the time she arrived home" Cal said.
"Back from trying to find Brinley?" 
"Yep, she is back from her home on the moon and from trying to search for Brinley" 
"She really loves her, I hope they don't end up like Bryan and Inpu or Austin and Bri" I said looking down a little.
"Yeah... I mean when Serena was hanging out with Brinley, I think it's been the happiest Ive seen her" Cal said now starting to fidget with his bracelet. 
I place my hand on Cal's left hand and touch the Gold band embedded with Alexandrite. Cal gives a smile and places his right hand on my left hand with a matching bracelet but embedded with Moonstone.
