Jamie's P.O.V.
"Alright so tell me what happened. I heard the growl." Toni Storm said as she walked into the room Mariah and I were staying in. 
"Ask her. I'm still bloody confused." Mariah said as she sat in the chair in the corner. She was still shaking from what had happened earlier. Grady had made sure the guy was gone but to say we both were still uneasy about it all was an understatement. We both could tell he knew the guy but wasn't saying how or why the guy had been there. 
"Because I'm not just as bloody confused as you are...." My reply got a look from Toni and I knew I was going to have to explain. If I didn't she was going to get it out of me one way or another. Alphas could. "Well somehow at the party last night between me forgetting everything and winding up in a bed with a stranger.... I found my bond." Both of their heads snapped towards me. They both knew how serious this was but what I didn't expect was to see the pure terror in Mariah's eyes at the words. 
"How? And who?" Toni's words were quick as she just about demanded answers. 
"I wish I knew.... I can't remember a thing from last night other than getting there. Woke up in bed with him couldn't get up and his scent hit me.... I-I.... I'm just as bloody confused as you are but he just about confirmed that it was a bond...." She looked at me studying me for a moment. 
"And his name?" I took a shaky breath in. 
"Grady." That was when her look turned to pure confusion. So she had never heard or seen him before too.... Glad I'm not the only one. 
"Where's he from." Another demand....
Bloody hell I hate when she stops questioning. 
"South Africa." Her eyes went wide before she took a step backwards and for the first time ever I could see her visibly shaken. "What?" 
"Did he say where?" My head shook as she continued to stare at me. "And that was his growl?" I couldn't help but gulp as I nodded slowly looking away from her. "Oh bloody hell.... You've bonded with a true wolf." My head snapped back towards her. It was rare that someone could shift into full wolf form. 
We all had our ways of shifting. For most it was claws and fangs but for those select few they full blown morphed into a wolf. Most people at a young age would choose between a life as a human or a wolf. If you chose to go the human route you could still shift but never to your full form. Wolves however were full form for the rest of their lives opting to live a more simpler life. However those select few that were a true wolf were much more powerful. But with power came many enemies, those wanting that power. 
"H-How do you know?" Her eyes met mine and I almost instantly knew how. An alpha could always tell the different between a growl. 
"That bloody thing shook me.... But why the growl?" Toni was looking between both Mariah and I. I however couldn't answer I was still digesting what Toni had said. 
"I-I was trying to find her...." Mariah spoke up getting both of our attentions. "Remember seeing you go up there but couldn't exactly remember which room. That was until whoever that was grabbed me." Toni went rigid. Her usual response to someone laying a hand on one of us. Nobody messed with her pack so for her to hear that instantly pissed her off. "He forced me to where she was and told me I either get her out or he'd...." Mariah trailed off as she knew Toni was starting to lose her temper. "But he wasn't after Jamie.... It was all about who she was with. That I could tell...." 
"I need to talk with this Grady." Toni's words were a demand as she looked me dead in the eye. I nodded before shakily pulling out my phone. Almost instantly it started to ring in my hand freezing me. "Bloody hell answer it." Toni snapped me out of my daze before I answered it and put it on speaker. They both knew better than to talk.
