As Aarohi died, it seemed like the whole family was drifting apart within seconds. It was like a storm that wouldn't let them collect the leftover pieces. Abhimanyu Birla, who stood there and heard everything said by Akshara, felt pain in his heart. As Akshara was about to leave, Abhimanyu looked at her, pained to see his son going away, but his lifeline was here, and it was difficult for him to leave her as well.
Manjari, who stood by their side, looked at her son with shock in her eyes.
"Abhimanyu, Akshara, and Abhir are leaving. You should be with them," said Manjari, looking at Abhimanyu.
"But Maa, Ruhi needs me," said Abhimanyu, trying to make his mother understand.
"What are you saying, Abhimanyu? We are all with Ruhi and by her side, but Akshara and Abhir have no one, and Akshara needs you. You can't leave her like this," said Manish, looking at Abhimanyu, which shocked him.
"He is your blood; you can't leave him like this!" shouted Manjari again, this time a little louder.
"But what about Ruhi?" questioned Abhimanyu, looking at everyone.
"Ruhi, Ruhi! Why are you chanting her name? Is she more important than your own blood, Abhimanyu?" asked Manish angrily, while Abhimanyu was shocked to hear this.
"Yes, she is, Bade Papa. When I lost my reason to live, she came into my life like an angel who gave me a reason to live and taught me to live happily," said Abhimanyu, looking at everyone, disappointment in his eyes.
Meanwhile, Akshara Goenka looked around and could clearly see the intensity of the situation. She didn't want to take Abhimanyu away from Ruhi, as she knew how important Abhimanyu was to Ruhi and how important Ruhi was to Abhimanyu.
"I don't need anyone by my side; I am enough for myself. I know how much Abhimanyu loves Ruhi. How can he leave her? Secondly, I am leaving India as Abhir got a scholarship to a good school in America," said Akshara, looking at everyone while they just looked on. Soon, Akshara went out, declaring this, and Abhimanyu followed her.
While Manjari and Manish angrily headed into Ruhi's room, where she was sleeping peacefully after the trauma of her mother's death, Manjari angrily pulled Ruhi's hand.
"Stay away from my son! Why are you snatching him from her, Ruhi?" asked Manjari angrily, holding Ruhi's hand.
"Dida, it’s hurting," said Ruhi, looking at Manjari as Manish came in.
"You and your mother are just alike. Aarohi was always stealing Akshara's rights, and you are after Abhir's rights," said Manish angrily.
"Just stay away from Abhimanyu, Akshara, and Abhir," said Manjari in a warning tone. Manish and Manjari left the room while Ruhi was shocked by their behavior. This wasn't something she was expecting. She was trembling badly and fell onto her bed, tightly hugging herself and crying her heart out, with all the pain shattered into the pillow.
"I don't want to keep Poppy away from his family. Why? Why is everyone blaming me?" said Ruhi to herself, trembling badly.
While Abhimanyu and Akshara were outside talking to each other, Akshara made Abhir lie on the back seat.
"Akshara, I thought we loved each other, but now I just want to keep our relationship as friends. Whenever Abhir needs me, I will always be by his side. Whenever he wants something, I will be with him," said Abhimanyu, looking at Akshara.
"The same is true from my side, Abhimanyu. We will co-parent Abhir, and it will be best for both of our lives," said Akshara, looking at him while Abhimanyu smiled slightly.
Abhimanyu, who stood outside, didn't get an idea of what was going on inside the house.
"I wish you all the success and the best for your future," said Abhimanyu, looking at her.
"Thank you, Abhimanyu. Now I will explore myself and be a better version of myself," said Akshara with a smile.
While Abhimanyu slightly slid his hand through Abhir's hair, he looked at him with love.
"Your Docman will always be with you whenever you need me," said Abhimanyu emotionally. After a few minutes, Abhir and Akshara went.
Abhimanyu, who looked in the direction of the tear that slipped from his eyes as he saw his son leaving, did not know that this scene broke someone's heart even more than his own.
Ruhi, who stood on the balcony to get some fresh air, ended up seeing the sight in front of her. What she was seeing wasn't the truth, but would her little heart understand it?
"Poppy is sad because of me. He is crying because of me. He has to stay away from Abhir and Massi. It's only my fault, and Dida and B Nanu were correct; I was the only one at fault. It was my fault. Poppy is just showing pity on me," said Ruhi, trembling as her legs stammered with each step. Her chest tightened with each passing step. Her heart raced, and her breath quickened. Her heart ached with each passing second; the pain it carried was something no one could understand. Her heart felt light, and she believed what people said.
As Abhimanyu entered, Manjari still looked at him with anger.
"Abhimanyu, you didn't do right," said Manjari, shouting.
The air grew heavier. Abhimanyu took a deep breath and looked at Manjari while clenching his fist to keep his calm.
A flow of emotions went through Abhimanyu's mind, his heart racing as he heard his mother.
"That's enough, Maa! Why are you blaming that little soul? She lost her mother just now, and what's the problem?" asked Abhimanyu, looking around at everyone. Everyone knew he wasn't wrong, but a sense of being of one's own blood was something always present within the Goenkas and Manjari.
"Abhimanyu, but still Abhir..." As Manish was about to speak further, Abhimanyu said, "Okay, all of you have a problem with me living with Ruhi, so I am leaving with Ruhi. I won't be living in this house."
As everyone heard this, they were shocked by this sudden revelation. They all looked at Abhimanyu, who climbed upstairs. He quickly packed his stuff and Ruhi's stuff. As Abhimanyu saw Ruhi, who was sleeping, little did he know she was just acting. Abhimanyu picked her up gently and went downstairs. He slowly moved outside of the house, and everyone just looked at Abhimanyu.
Manjari’s face twisted in a mix of anger and fear, her lips quivering as she opened her mouth to speak but then stopped. Manish, on the other hand, stood frozen, his eyes pleading with Abhimanyu, but no words came out.
While Abhimanyu made Ruhi sleep on the backseat and started the car.
