"Lucinda says dinners almost ready." Lena said. "Lead the way to the dining room." Alex said. "What do you think of the tree?" Kara asked. "It looks nice. I also like the stockings too. They're cute." Andrea said. "Thanks. Those were Lena's idea, custom stockings for each of us." Kara added as they took their seats at the table. "What are we having?" Alex asked. "A taco bar." Lena said. "Like make your own tacos?" Alex asked. "Yea, and there's homemade sangria too." Kara said. 
Just then Lucinda came in with the food and drinks. "Enjoy ladies!" She said before she disappeared again. Everyone began digging into the food piling tacos onto their plates. "So what are your plans for New Year's Eve?" Andrea asked. "We've decided to have a party. A semi formal one...so you'll have to get some dresses." Lena replied. "We can do that, who all is coming?" Alex asked. "Uh some of Kara's teammates and their plus ones, Maggie, and a the few friends I have." Lena said. 
"Oh...ok." Alex replied. "Eliza will be here too." Lena said. Alex nodded in agreement. "How is everything?" Kara asked breaking the silence. "Really good!" Alex said. "Great!" Andrea replied. They continued eating in a comfortable silence before Kara broke the silence once more. "I'll make sure Maggie stays away from you! But it was my idea to invite her, as she is still my friend too!" Kara snapped. "Ok...I'm not mad about her being here, I didn't know you guys were still close...that's all. I'll be civil." Alex replied.
After dinner everyone decided to go to the theater room and watch a few movies before going to bed. They figured that sodas, mounds of popcorn and candy would soak up a little of the sangria they ate. At least thats what the three humans figured, Kara however was perfectly fine.
