A Cozy Night with 3MIX/ 与 3MIX 度过一个舒适的夜晚

It had been a long week of rehearsals, and the members of TWICE were looking forward to some much-needed rest. Nayeon, Jeongyeon, and Jihyo—fondly known as 3MIX—had been particularly exhausted after perfecting their choreography for an upcoming concert. However, instead of heading to bed right away, they decided to unwind together with a cozy night in.

Jeongyeon had suggested the idea, remembering how they used to spend time together before their debut, just the three of them, talking and laughing for hours. The others quickly agreed, nostalgic for those carefree moments.

The night started in the dorm's living room, where the three had gathered around a low table. Jeongyeon had prepared homemade tteokbokki, spicy rice cakes, which filled the room with a delicious aroma. Nayeon was in charge of making hot chocolate, while Jihyo pulled out a couple of fluffy blankets for them to wrap themselves in.

As they settled down, Nayeon took a big sip of her hot chocolate, exhaling with a satisfied grin. "Ah, this is exactly what we needed. I don't remember the last time we had a night like this."

Jeongyeon chuckled, stirring the tteokbokki. "Well, we've been busy. But we deserve this break. Plus, I missed having time with you guys."

Jihyo nodded, her face glowing with the warmth of the evening. "I missed this too. I mean, we're always together, but it's different when it's just the three of us, you know? Like old times."

They reminisced about their trainee days, laughing about the awkwardness of their first interactions. Jeongyeon teased Nayeon about how she used to wake up with her hair in a crazy mess, and Nayeon retaliated by reminding Jihyo of how she would practice singing at all hours, driving the other trainees a little crazy.

"Do you remember that time when we all stayed up until 3 AM practicing for that evaluation? I thought we were going to collapse the next day," Jihyo said, giggling at the memory.

Nayeon leaned back against the couch, grinning. "And we still nailed it! Look at us now. I'm proud of us."

Jeongyeon, with a soft smile, looked at her two best friends. "We've come so far. There were tough moments, but I wouldn't have made it without you two by my side."

There was a brief pause as they all took in the significance of their friendship. Jihyo, always the leader with a heart full of emotion, reached out to hold both of their hands. "We've been through everything together, and no matter what happens in the future, I know we'll always be there for each other. TWICE is our family, but 3MIX... we're something special."

Nayeon, always playful, squeezed Jihyo's hand dramatically. "Aww, you're getting all emotional, Jihyo! Should we get you a tissue?"

They all laughed, but it was clear that Jihyo's words had struck a chord. Jeongyeon spoke up, her voice quieter. "She's right, though. We've always had each other's backs. Even when things were tough, when we doubted ourselves, we always knew we had this friendship to fall back on."

Nayeon looked at her friends, the playful glint in her eyes softening. "I'm really grateful for you guys. I don't say it often, but you're both like sisters to me. Even though I'm technically older, you two are always the ones taking care of me."

Jihyo and Jeongyeon shared a look and then burst into laughter. "Yeah, that's true," Jeongyeon teased, "you're definitely the most childish one here."

"Hey!" Nayeon protested, but her laughter betrayed her. "Okay, maybe sometimes. But that's why you love me."

The night continued with more laughter, stories, and the occasional teasing, the trio's bond evident in every word and action. As they finished the tteokbokki and snuggled under the blankets, they decided to watch a movie together, settling on an old classic that they used to watch during their trainee days.

Halfway through the movie, Jeongyeon glanced over to see Nayeon and Jihyo had both fallen asleep, their heads resting against each other. Smiling fondly, she quietly stood up and turned off the TV, careful not to wake them. She grabbed her phone and snapped a quick picture of the two sleeping peacefully, planning to tease them about it in the morning.

Jeongyeon sat back down, pulling the blanket over her knees, and closed her eyes. In that quiet moment, she felt an overwhelming sense of gratitude. Their journey hadn't been easy, but it had been worth every hardship. And as long as she had Nayeon and Jihyo by her side, she knew they could face anything together.

The next morning, they woke up tangled in blankets and pillows, laughing at the sight of each other's bedhead. Nayeon complained about how cold it had gotten during the night, while Jihyo insisted on making breakfast as a thank you for Jeongyeon's cooking the night before. It was a simple, happy moment, one of many they had shared over the years, but it was these moments that reminded them just how special their friendship was.

No matter how busy their lives became, no matter how many stages they performed on or awards they won, 3MIX would always have nights like these—quiet, cozy, and full of love.
