"I draw." Renji starts her first turn. "I discard and ride up to Patrol of Gusts, Ventesta! Set my energy generator and end my turn."
"Then I draw. I discard and ride Knight of Heavenly Lasting, Tranquilia. I draw with Admis's skill. Then I call Knight of Heavenly Pitch, Percel. Attack for 16k."
This wasn't something Renji was expecting. She could block it, but didn't want to take the chance of him getting a trigger and breaking her guard. "No guard!"
"Drive check. No trigger."
"Damage check, no trigger here."
"I end my turn there." Perse says as he slides his card into his hand.
"Then I draw, and ride Knight of Great Advance, Ascensior! Using Ventesta's skill, he calls himself and allows me to soul charge. I call Painkiller Angel! Attack with Ascensior!"
"I guard." Perse blocks the attack.
"Drive check...! Critical Trigger! All effects to Ventesta! Attack with support from Painkiller!"
"No guard. No triggers."
"Painkiller's skill. Soul blast and retire herself to draw a card. I end my turn." Renji smiles at her good luck.
"I draw." Perse starts his new turn. "I ride Clear-sky Knight, Sodios! Skill of Tranquilia, I reveal three cards from hand of different Grades, then call a card from the top five cards of my deck. Call Knight of Piercing, Cadwalla! Cadwalla attacks."
"I guard that." Renji stops this attack from going through.
"Cadwalla's skill. She retires herself, and I can add the one card from the top three to my hand. Sodios attacks. 18k."
"Guard!" Renji attempts to block this attack as well.
"Drive check. Critical Trigger." Perse grins, and deals two more damage to Renji. And then it's her turn.
"Stand and draw. I ride! Fated One of Miracles, Rezael! Using Ascensior's skill, I call Nobia from the drop! Using Nobia's skill, I counter blast one and check the top three cards of my deck. Then I call Gaurgaon! Gaurgaon gets a continuous 5k power and shield when my Vanguard is Rezael! Then I activate my Divine Skill!" Renji announces.
"Divine Skill? What's that?" Perse asked, confused.
"It's a special skill that Rezael has. It can only be used once per game! My Divine Skill locks me into riding only Rezael cards, and returns all my Critical Triggers from my drop to my deck! I put 4 back, and Rezael gets plus one drive until the of turn, and an extra skill until the end of the fight, or until the condition is met!"
"Interesting. Using those Critical Triggers to guard early, then put them to go on the offense. And this extra skill... I don't suppose you'll tell me for suspense reasons." He chuckles.
"I hope that's okay." Renji says, and continues her turn. "Gaurgaon attacks! 13k!"
"I guard that attack!" Perse says, stopping the attack.
