"Ugh! You're so difficult to deal with y'know that?" Sigewinnie squeals, her voice cracking as she fold her arm glaring at Wriothesley.

"Look i'm sorry Sigewinnie something came up I didn't mean to come back so late" Wriothesley says apologetically as he rubs his neck,

"You were supposed to be back Sunday morning! Not some unnatural time Monday morning!" Sigewinnie scolds before she sheepishly adds on "I was worried about you.."

Wriothesley smiled, resisting the urge to tease the adorable girl but settled on ruffling her hair gently.

"I know, I know I'll make it up to you I promise" Wriothesley speaks offering a smile to portray his sincerity.

"Not to mention your sleep schedule can't get anymore messed up! 4 hours is not enough sleep!" Sigewinnie emphasizes her pointed eyes staring into Wriothesley.

Wriothesley can only nervously laugh her words off, unable to defend himself from her accusations. Sigewinnie just let out a sigh of defeat before a small smile occupied her face once more.

"Now, out, out I have patients to treat" Sigewinnie says as she swatted Wriothesley's coat shoeing the man out.

"Of course, I better get back to work now"  Wriothesley says as he begins to approach the exit.

"Bye!" Sigewinnie bid her goodbyes with one final push of the man outside the door.

Watching as the man left her office she can't help but giggle to herself at her personal revenge, as a cartoon chibi version of herselfs smiles at her from where it is stuck to Wriothesley's coat.

...

Wriothesley can't but smile to himself, he's sure anyone who saw the duke walking down the halls smiling to himself thought he was some weirdo but having earned their respect, or in other words their fear they know better to comment on it.

Wriothesley can't bring himself to touch the pages that litter his desk, his stomach is dancing swaying side by side not allowing him to stand still for just a moment he needs to be moving. One foot in front of the other he paces across his office.

His mind was racing, this can't be real how could this be real how could he be able to not only date but marry Neuvillette? It all feels so unreal..

Flopping down on his chair Wriothesley let his arm flop on either side of the arm of the chair as he leaned his head back inspecting the ceiling and plopping his folded legs on his desk without any regard to the papers piled up.

Staring at the dark domed ceiling soon bored Wriothesley as he resorted to closing his eyes, retreating to his own domain where he finds himself simply admiring Neuvillettes face, he sees Neuvillette shyly smiling dusty pink complimenting his face, he sees Neuvillette grinning teeth on display as he leans his head back his laugh echoing in the halls of Neuvillettes mind and then he looks over to the depths of his mind where he sees Neuvillette face weighed down in sorrow as he silently weeps his uneven breathing filling Wriothesleys ears.

...

Wriothesley knew better than to ignore Sigewinnies warnings when she refused to take any other answer that wasn't agreement as she forcefully handed the umbrella into Wriothesley's hands before he'll emerge to the surface for his weekend off.

The fortress can be deceiving, regardless of whether it was summer or winter the fortress remained unaffected by the seasons always remaining cold and dry. One can't complain from the shelter of the lashing rain that fontaine often falls victim to, the coldness on the other hand is something worth complaints unable to provide efficient heating for the whole structure the inhabitants and left scourging for extra blankets or lingering for a moment too long in the heavenly hot spots where the fire blares and engulfs the room with it's heat.
