It didn't take a genius to realize that George O'Malley was losing his mind. Living with three women could do that to any sane man especially when two of them didn't really understand boundaries. While Meredith could get grumpy and mean sometimes; it was Izzie and Dory that seemed to be his biggest problem.
While Izzie walked around in her underwear and used his toothbrush, Dory would often find him on the couch and simply fall down on top of him or just sit on the ground and clutch onto his leg like a scared infant. And when he thought the worst of it was behind him; all three of his roommates would climb into bed with him. Because of the lack of space it would always end with Dory laying directly on top of him.
This morning the only problem he had was Izzie and Dory walking into the bathroom while he was showering with Izzie still in her Hello Kitty panties as she took his toothbrush instead of hers.
"Is that my toothbrush?!" He called out but she was already walking out of the bathroom, leaving Dory behind to grab her own toothbrush.
"Can I get some privacy like just a little?" George's hair was wet and stuck to his face as he looked at Dory who was getting her toothbrush wet before she nodded, turning her back to him. He mumbled, "That's not what I meant," Before shutting the glass shower door and trying to wash himself further.
She spat out her toothpaste before rinsing her face as George yelped from the shower, "Do you want coffee?" She figured that she would let him keep some of his dignity and let that high pitch sound slide.
"If that means you leave the bathroom; YES!" She got the message as she walked out of the bathroom and into her bedroom. She was still in her nightgown as she stripped out of it and into a pair of washed out, low rise jeans and a pink top with a little white bow on the front and a pair of pumps. She used a white ribbon to pull her hair into a ponytail before going down to the kitchen.
"Two cups; one for me and one for Bambi," Dory sat down at the kitchen table, leaning over to look at Meredith's family. Feeling someone looking over her shoulder, she slammed the book shut.
"Is it just me or is he in a mood?" Izzie filled two cups with black coffee, she had started pouring milk into one of the cups when Dory picked up the other and without thinking, she took a large gulp of the hot coffee. She regretted it the moment it happened, the heat crawled to the back of her throat and scalded the roof of her mouth as she gasped. She nearly dropped the mug but Izzie took it from her, placing it gently on the kitchen island while Meredith giggled to herself.
Dory panted like a dog as Izzie rolled her eyes, "I was just about to pour milk into that," She used her right hand to grab a hold of Dory's jaw, brown eyes clashing against one another as she gently blew cold air into the woman's open mouth.
It had taken Dory by surprise but it felt a little better and she wasn't gonna complain.
"Do you two need a room?" Meredith cleared her throat and Dory's cheeks flushed as Izzie smirked softly at her, letting go of her face. Now free from Izzie's hold, Dory grabs the correct cup of coffee. "Don't try stand up, it's not for you." Dory smiled at Meredith, pouring sugar into her cup as the woman with the dirty blonde hair rolled her eyes.
