"This is a special little crew of dancers I assembled to battle you. This is BTS. They've come to L.A. to learn more about hip-hop culture." Our dance instructor explained while gesturing for us to introduce ourselves. "2,3" Namjoon started. " Tan! Hello, we are Bangtan." We all finished while bowing 90 degrees. The dancers just eyed us up and down almost trying to intimidate us before they reluctantly started slowly clapping for us before clapping regularly. "Okay, who do we have first?" asked the teacher while looking over at us, "Suga!" We all yelled collectively while Yoongi raised his hand high and was proud to be going first. "I'll show myself, I feel like I'm showing all my weaknesses and embarrassing myself in L.A. right now," Yoongi commented while looking at the film crew who could only laugh at his statement. He walked to the middle of the room and shook hands with the opposing team's first pick, he was slightly taller than Yoongi and was bald, but other than that looked like a normal person. He wasn't eyeing us up and down like some of the other dancers and seemed like a genuinely nice person. The instructor cued the music and Yoongi started dancing along to the beat. He started showing off some of his dusted-off B-boy moves, trying his best to win the battle. He got up and close to his opponent making Jimin and I hold onto each other trying to keep each other upright from laughing so hard at his newfound confidence. "First round Suga!" Our instructor said while pointing over to our side of the studio making us cheer and clap over the win. "Next round, BTS member, Rap Monster." She said while waiting for Namjoon and another dancer to come out to the center of the studio before cueing the music and starting the dance battle. This time the opposing team's dancer went first making Namjoon watch him dance, I could see him getting more visablly nervous. Namjoon tried his best but his counterattack was a bit weak but good nonetheless, the instructor said nothing and just pointed at the other dancer signaling that he had won making Namjoon retreat into our side of the studio where we were standing. "I think you had the skills to beat the person hyung, if you confront it calmly you can win." Jimin said to Namjoon trying to give him some advice. "On to the next round with Jin," she said while swinging her arms over to where Jin was standing making him sit up in the center of the studio and wait for an opponent to step up and battle him. His opponent started doing some sort of wanna-be sexy dance but honestly, it just looked like he was dry-humping the ground and doing nothing for his dancing, he finally stopped dancing giving Jin a chance to counter his dance. At first, all he did was a typical Hip-hop bounce that our instructor back in Korea had taught us, but eventually, he started doing some regular dancing before he did his trademark traffic light dance making me giggle and cling onto Jimin from the laughter. "Okay guys that was good, but I have to give that to him." She explained while motioning over to Jin's opponent. "Good job guys, the result from that battle was that our special guest crew got 2 wins." She said before being interrupted by Jimin. "Can we do a battle against them with our other members?" He asked in Korean to which our instructor and camera crew agreed to let us do it. "Alright, who's gonna go first from BTS?" She asked while looking over at us waiting for a response. Namjoon volunteered Jimin and pushed him forward to the center of the room. Jimins demeanor got serious as I've only ever seen him act on stage as he shook his opponent's hand waiting for the music to start. Jimin let the other dancer start the battle, which he started weak. Honestly, he wasn't half the dancer compared to Jimin or J-hope, Jimin decided that it was his turn to start dancing so he slowly started moving to the center of the floor until he was pushed back by the other dancer. It was one thing to trash talk, but another to push someone. It was flat-out disrespectful and made my blood boil, how could someone treat anyone like that no matter the situation? It wasn't even like it was that serious of a dance battle to put your hands on someone. Jimin finally got his chance to showcase his skills without being pushed back. Soon the music stopped and the instructor quieted us down to make comments and announce the winner of this round. "This round goes to Jimin because he has better musicality and precision with his body control. So give it up for Jimin he did a great job," We all clapped loudly since he had won a round for us making the battle tied. He walked back over to where I was standing taking his place close next to me again. Lately, he had been a lot more touchy and close to me, I thought it was just him feeling more comfortable with me but honestly who knows? I just knew that I wanted to win this challenge so I didn't have to do yet another punishment. Jungkook willingly stepped up to the center of the room starting the next battle. "Tease him Kookie, trust me get in his head." I commented from behind him making him show off his bunny smile and laugh at my comment. It was true though, you just had to get in your opponent's head sometimes to better your chances of winning, but it also came in handy when I wanted things. Jungkook started the dance battle, he got closer to his opponent backing him up into his group in a teasing manner. He then attempted to do a front flip but landed on his back making me audibly gasp from how hard he hit the ground, he continued dancing like nothing had ever happened and was unaffected by the trouble he had taken. Soon it was time for the instructor to decide on a winner and to add to the anticipation he brought them both to the middle holding one of their hands in hers, she then raised the guest dancers' hand signifying that they had won yet another round. The other dancers and members were conversating giving each other advice and commenting on what they've noticed about each other's dancing styles, but I spaced out before the conversation had even started so I was honestly lost until I was J-hope was now in the center and was getting ready to show off his dancing skills. After the battle, the instructor did the same thing as before holding one of their hands in her before lifting J-Hopes hand showing that he had won this round for us making the score tied once again. J-hope decided to go again but this time against a different person. I didn't want to dance especially if winning this was on the line since my dancing skills in this genre were not up to par to battle with someone with so much experience. J-hope won once and for all breaking the tie and making us the overall winners. After the dance battles were over Jimin Jungkook and I were all sitting on the floor, well Jimin and I were sitting Jungkook was lying down on the floor with his head resting on my lap. Jimin and Jungkook were rambling on about B-boying while I just spaced out rubbing the boy's chest in a comforting way trying to be gentle since he was all fragile from the fall he had taken a few minutes ago. After a while of laying around on the floor and spending time together, our crew brought us some food and gathered us around serving us food on plastic plates. We all decided to eat together sitting in a circle on the studio floor, I decided to sit next to Taehyung since we hadn't been hanging out much today except for in the morning, but I got it sometimes we needed to hang out with the other members instead of it just being us all of the time. Lunch was filled with fun conversations and talking about how we needed to dance battles together more often.
"Welcome to your last challenge. This is called the D.I.Y challenge. Each team will be given a song that you will have to make your choreography to, but I'm going to give you three elements or moves that you need to incorporate into your routine. First team trouble." We stepped up waiting for further instructions from her. "So your song is to Love Never Felt So Good by Michel Jackson." She then went on to explain and demonstrate the three moves we had to have in our routine. She spent extra time showing us how to glide, and then she had us all do it one by one. Jungkook did it first doing it like it was his second nature. Then Yoongi did it with ease as well, so maybe it wasn't too too hard. Taehyung was the next one to do it and he also did it so easily that I was so impressed with all of them and how easy they made it look because if I was being honest it wasn't that easy. I was the last one to go, and for me, although it was a little difficult I did it after a few tries. I finally understood how to do it and demonstrated that I could do it with ease. "You're getting better (N/N)," J-hope said from behind me making me turn around and flash a toothy smile at him, being complimented on my dancing skills by J-hope was like the best compliment anyone could ever get. Soon all of the other members got their songs and their dance moves which meant it was time to go out and get started on our routines. We decided to go to the beach to work on our routine which might have been a bad idea because from the moment we got there all Jungkook and I could talk about was wanting to go in the water. Taehyung quickly took off his shoes, before helping me take off mine. Once our shoes were off he quickly grabbed my hand in his making us run down the beach towards the ocean. We ran down to the foot of the water dipping our feet in the cold water slightly, it was surprisingly cold despite it being so warm in California. "Look! A Pidgeon." Taehyung yelled out before running further down the beach chasing after a bird. "I want to go in!" Jungkook slightly shouted while inching deeper in the water hoping not to get scolded. "How about after we finish our routine we get in, I'll get in with you Kookie," I suggested while reminding them all of the reason we were even here in the first place. They all agreed but before we got serious of course we had to take pictures to capture the moment. We took many pictures together with all four of us until Taehuyng asked the staff for some pictures of just him and me. I was confused at first since he was asking the staff but I decided to go along with it since the pictures started as friendly, just an arm around my shoulders, then a few with me on his back, when I thought we were done he pulled me in closer to him I thought nothing of it until he brought his face closer to mine closing the gap in between our lips kissing me while the staff were dumbfounded but relentlessly took pictures anyway. If our manager found out about this we were in deep trouble because he did that in public, but now there were photographs of us kissing that could easily be spread around.
