The Interveiw

                                    

                                          
Mark and I went into the interview room. We both sat on the couch that was in there. Mark then started the interview.
                          
" How old are you?"
                          
"11"
                          
"What is your favorite color?"
                          
"Green, blue, black, and turquoise."
                          
"Do mind mind telling me how you ended up here?"
                          
" My parents died cause of a drunk driver."
                          
"Oh, sorry to hear that." He then hugged me. I was shocked at first, then hugged back.
                          
Mrs.Lee came into the room."Ok, Mark times up!" She said
                          
We went out into the lobby where all the other girls were. I sat beside this girl named Hailey.
                          
"Ugh, like he would ever pick you!" She snapped I just looked down. It's weird how a person can be all brave one minute then the next there all shy. That's how I'm feeling.
                          
"Shelby is my new daughter!" I heard Mark say 
I looked up quickly and looked surprised. I heard all the other girls gasp. I just stood up and looked at the girls and smirked. I ran into my room and packed. I went back into the lobby and they other girls were gone. I went up to Mark seeing him talking to Mrs.Lee and giving her back the papers that were filled out.

                          
" Now Mark do you know how to take care of all her ' lady problems' that could happen in the next 1 to 2 years, especially with her body changing and all that?"
                          
I looked down blushing a deep red.' Really really Mrs.Lee?'I thought. I haven't got my period yet so I don't know how that will work out.
                          
Mark chuckled, " Yes I do." He patted my head I looked up and gave him and really scary glare. He backed away and said, " Ok Ok sheesh, well nice knowing you Mrs.lee but we got to go to Shelby's new home now. "
                          
Suddenly Scott came through the doors. Mrs.Lee must have told him I got adopted. " Wait, Shelby! Here." He gave me his guitar ( Picture of it in the media) "Scott thank you! you didn't have to give me this!"
                          
"Well I wanted to, Shelby I'm going to miss you so much! Here" he took a piece of paper and pen and wrote down his phone number and gave it to me. "Just in case you ever get a phone."
                          
"Thanks, Scott I'm going to miss you so much."
                          
"Shelby before you go I want you to have this." Mr.Lee gave me a heart necklace and inside was a picture of me and my family before they died. " thank you " I said
                          
"Well, you better get ongoing. "
                          
" ok bye Mrs.lee! Bye Scott! "
                          
" Bye, Shelby!" They both said in unison
