AS I WALKED towards the cafeteria with my tray of food, I spotted Mina, Uraraka, Tsu, and Hagakure already sitting down at a table.
"Y/N?" Tsu began, "Where have you been?"
"Oh, sorry...I forgot where the lunch room was..haha..."
Mina chuckled, "You're such an airhead," she teased. "We've been waiting for you!"
"Yeah, it felt like an eternity, we thought you wouldn't come at all. Come sit with us!" Uraraka said, patting the open seat next to her.
I quietly made my way over the seat next to Uraraka. I placed the tray on the table but didn't bother eating yet. I still couldn't shake off the words that Todoroki had said in my head.
"I broke a promise I made to myself a long time ago"
"What I'm trying to say is, the power coming from you is the same as All Mights"
"I remember she called my left side unbearable - before pouring boiling water on my face."
"Are you really All Mights secret love child?"
"I refuse to be a tool for that scumbag."
"Everything okay?" Hagakure asked, "You're not going to eat anything?"
Hagakure's voice snapped me out of my stupor. I managed a sheepish grin, feeling the weight of everyone's gaze on me. "Yeah, everything's fine, don't worry." I said before taking a big bite of my rice.
"Hey girls.."
I looked up at the sound of someone's voice- it was Yaoyorozu and Jiro, but Jirou looked like she was embarrassed about something. Her face was red and she was fidgeting with her earphones.
"Oh hey Yaoyorozu and Jirou!" Mina exclaimed cheerfully.
Jirou shrieked as her name was mentioned, her face becoming even more flushed. "Yaoyorozu w-will explain to you guys."
'Huh? Explain what exactly?'
Yaoyorozu sighed, "I have some unfortunate news....Mr. Aizawa informed us that the girls have to wear these...cheerleading uniforms for the afternoon cheer. If we don't comply, we'll be in big trouble."
'Wait- hold up, what?'
"And also, Kaminari and Mineta found out about this and informed us about it."
'Those two perverts?'
"Wait, now hold on a second" I spoke, the girls shifting their attention to me. "That doesn't seem fair, why should WE be the ones having to wear a stupid cheerleading outfit? I mean, Kaminari and Mineta out of everyone said this? That can't be good news."
