Karan's smile grew as he leaned over Tejasswi's shoulder, his eyes meeting hers in the reflection of the kitchen window. "I couldn't agree more," he murmured, his breath warm against her ear. Tejasswi felt a thrill run through her at his words, the intimacy of the moment not lost on her.

Poonam, the doctor, rolled her eyes, but the affection in her gaze was clear. "Alright, you two," she said, her tone light. "Let's not forget we have family to entertain."

Tejasswi blushed and stepped out of Karan's embrace. She had been so engrossed in the kitchen camaraderie that she had lost track of time. "I'll be right there," she called out to him, her voice a little too eager. She couldn't help the thrill that shot through her at the thought of being alone with him again.

Karan's eyes sparkled with mischief as he nodded, his smile lingering on her face even as he turned to leave. The kitchen was suddenly quieter without his presence, the laughter and chatter feeling a little forced. Tejasswi tried to focus on the task at hand, but her mind kept drifting back to his whispered words, the warmth of his breath on her ear, the promise in his eyes.

As the minutes ticked by, she felt the tension building in her chest. She knew he was waiting for her, and she couldn't help the little thrill of excitement that shot through her every time she thought about it. The kitchen, once a place of comfort and belonging, now felt stifling, the air thick with the anticipation of what was to come.

Tejasswi's hands moved mechanically as she helped Meenu with the final preparations, her mind racing with thoughts of Karan. She glanced at the clock again, her heart skipping a beat as she realized she had five minutes left. She couldn't ignore the summons, not when the promise of intimacy beckoned so strongly.

"Meenu, I'll be right back," she murmured, her voice barely above a whisper.

"Take your time," Meenu said, her eyes twinkling with mischief. "We've got everything under control here."

Tejasswi couldn't help but feel a little guilty as she left the kitchen. The sisters had been so welcoming, and she was eager to impress them. But the pull of Karan's presence was too strong. She hurried down the hallway, her heart racing in anticipation. When she reached his room, she found the door open, the scent of his cologne hanging in the air. She took a deep breath, steeling herself before stepping inside.

Karan was lounging on the bed, his arms behind his head, his eyes tracking her every move as she entered. He looked up, a smoldering expression in his eyes that sent a jolt of desire straight to her core.

Tejasswi felt the heat rise in her cheeks. "I'm sorry," she began, "Meenu needed help with dinner."

Karan sat up, his expression softening. "Don't worry about it," he said, his voice a gentle caress. "But I need to talk to you."

Tejasswi felt a thrill at his words, her stomach flipping with excitement. She nodded, her voice barely a whisper. "Okay," she said, her eyes never leaving his.

Suddenly meenu shouted "tejasswi i need a little help can you pls come down"
Tejasswi replied "sure, I'm coming"
Karan leaned back, his arms crossing over his chest as he watched her go. He couldn't help but feel a twinge of annoyance as she disappeared into the kitchen again. He knew she was eager to impress his sisters, but he had been looking forward to spending some time with her, just the two of them. The house was a whirlwind of activity, and he needed a moment of peace, a moment to savor the feeling of her in his arms.

With a sigh, he stood up and made his way to his room. He needed to get dressed for dinner but, He collapsed onto the bed, his mind racing with thoughts of Tejasswi. She was so beautiful, so vibrant, and she had captured his heart in a way that no one ever had before. He couldn't wait to make her his, to show her just how much she meant to him.

The door to the room was ajar, allowing the delicious aroma of the meal being prepared to waft in. His stomach growled, a reminder of the hours that had passed since their impromptu breakfast. But it was a hunger of a different kind that gnawed at him now, a hunger that only Tejasswi could satisfy.
