! enjoy !Aerith was sitting on the bench in the indoor training room, a bored expression on her face as she watched assassin's and trainees fight and train.
She was waiting for Five to get there so he could continue his teachings, but shes been waiting for half an hour and he hasn't shown up yet.
Come on, old man.. i know you're a slow walker, but jeez..
The girl sighs, leaning back against the wall and tilting her head up to look at the ceiling, watching the buzzing lights and zoning out.
She didn't know how long she had zoned out for, but suddenly, she heard her name called from across the room. Not her name, but her code name. The one The Handler gave her.
"Dagger!" The shrill, annoying voice of the unfortunately familiar woman echos in the room, and everyone stops, turning to look.
Aerith lifts her head from the wall, looking over to the entrance to see the blonde woman in one of the usual over the top dresses that make her seem like she's crying for attention.
The woman smiles a fake smile, waving Aerith over.
Aerith sucks in a breath, standing from the bench, trying to ignore all the looks she was getting from her peers as she walks over to the woman.
The Handler places her hand on the girls shoulder, her grip tight to the point Aerith knew there would be a bruise. "Follow me, dear."
The blonde led the young girl out of the room and down the hall, all the way to her office. She let Aerith go in first, shutting the door behind herself.
"So, Aerith." The Handler starts with the same fake smile, moving over and taking a seat at her desk as the black haired girl sits across from her as always. "Where is Number Five?"
Aerith's eyebrows furrow a bit. "What do you mean..?"
The Handler chuckles coldly before her smile drops and her face goes flat. "You were meant to be on that mission with him. Aerith, do not lie to me."
Aerith pauses. "We didn't have a mission."
The Handler raises her eyebrows a bit. "He didn't tell you? Well then, looks like he didn't want you with him, I guess."
The girls eyebrows furrow. "What are you talking about? What mission?"
The Handler chuckles, leaning back in her chair, intertwining her fingers on her lap. "His mission to make sure JFK is assassinated. It was meant to be during your training session, as a replacement. He never told you?"
Aerith shakes her head. "No.."
The Handler grins. "Then you don't know that he broke his contract."
The girls eyes widen. "He what..?"
He broke his contract with the Commission..? He left? And he didn't tell her...
