My vacation in Atlantis was over. Aly and I made it to the airport and then went our separate ways. I had texted Scott about getting my mail until further notice since I didn't know when I would be home.

Once I arrived in Atlanta, I contacted Megan, and she said Chris would be working all day so I would have time to get settled. She had someone come to the house and let me in since I didn't have a key.

Once I got inside, I noticed it was very minimal and just enough for one person, a single guy for sure. I looked at the coffee table though and saw the picture of Chris and I that I gave him for Christmas. I smiled at this knowing he kept it front and center.

I pulled out my cellphone,

Aspen: I'm in the house, thanks for sending someone with the key.

Megan: No problem. And you still want to surprise him, right?

Aspen: Yeah, don't tell him anything. I'm going to turn off my phone once I text him that I'll be traveling.

Megan: Sounds good.

I then pulled up my text with Chris,

Aspen: Hey babe. I don't know if you're on set or not but I'm going to be traveling and turning my phone off. I love you and we will talk later.

I saw Chris read the message. I didn't get a reply, but I knew he was busy. I walked into the kitchen to look at see what kind of food he had since I wanted to make him and I a late-night dinner. I mean I knew it would be a late night, but how late could he possibly be.

**CHRIS POV**

It was 2am and I was just getting home. I had never been so happy to see the rental house. It was a hard day of mostly the fight scenes, so I just wanted to take a hot shower and get in bed.

I hadn't heard from Aspen since the text about her traveling. She must have zonked out once she got home. I would text her in the morning or try and call her.

I unlocked the front door and walked inside almost tripping over a suitcase.

"Damnit Scott, move your fucking suitcase." I grumbled. I told him I didn't need him to come down, that I was fine and didn't want company, but he must not have listened. The only company I wanted was possibly in Boston now sleeping alone in her bed.

I walked upstairs bringing the suitcase with me setting it outside the closed spare room door. He could trip over the bag in the morning.

I walked into my room and turned on the small lamp on my side of the bed. When I looked in the bed I noticed someone was in my bed. Her hair splayed out on the pillow, and she was in her panties and one of my t-shirts.

Aspen was here! Aspen was in my bed! Aspen fooled me about her travel plans! That was her luggage I tripped over!

I leaned on the bed as gently as I could and kissed Aspen's cheek. She whimpered in her sleep, and I smiled.
