Natty was heading to her friend's townhouse, where her girlfriend resided. They had confessed how they felt and were slowly navigating how to move forward. Nox had been through an extremely traumatic childhood. She had been both her Father's princess and the place he took out his anger on. She had a lot of things to work on and Natty was more than happy to help.

She had lost her Father young, but she had a strong, albeit overbearing Mother who had guided her. She felt very self assured, and knew she had strengths to offer others. She was all about service to others, her Father had taught her that. Nox's Father taught her the opposite so she had to constantly relearn everything. She rarely knew how people would treat her, there were so many misconceptions her family had put in her head of purpose. So Natty had been helping her as her Father would have wanted.

Not that she needed the reason, Nox was ethereally beautiful. Natty could look at her all day, she had sparked her interest immediately. Natty liked to think that what mattered most was what in a persons soul, and she hadn't given much mind to physical traits....but Nox Gaunt was stunning and made her heart race. Her hair was down to her back, and fell in soft waves, she had sharp, beautiful features like her brother, and her eyes looked like ocean jewels.

She had been distrustful of Natty in the beginning, but sensed her strength and resolve. Natty prided herself in those traits....so she started falling in love with her right then and there. Then a few weeks later, they were just talking and Nox had been staring at her.

She opened her mouth and said, "you are the most striking woman I have ever seen, I find I cannot stop looking at you".

Natty knew for sure, then and there, she was done for. She had wanted to resist her Mothers vision, she was always defiant, but the way Nox made her heart race was too real. When Nox had asked her first if she was ok, and that she was sorry this probably reminded her Father, when her brother went missing.....she fell in love with her and never wanted to leave her side.

Natty was experienced with women, but she had never felt this strongly for anyone. Ominis Gaunt was her best friend in the entire world so she wanted to be respectful. When he proved to be a right pain in the ass, she stuck his girl on him. She knew he couldn't resist anything she wanted him to do. That's when she finally got a chance to have the peace and quiet to confess her feelings without scaring the skittish girl away.

Little did she know that Nox would surprise her yet again, she had been talking to Sallow, about how to get Natty to kiss her!! Sallow!

She owed him a debt actually, because his advice had been quite good....their first kiss had been magic. It was gentle and tender, but Nox didn't hold back letting it be known how much she wanted Natty. Letting her ever leave her arms after that had been so difficult, especially after she confessed she had felt the same way for weeks .

Something was brewing between her three friends...Nox would tell her how they would all three go to her brother's room....Natty was no gossip, but she did press Nox for details. It was of the utmost importance but she could not interfere, no more than the friendly nudge she gave Sebastian awhile ago. He was aiming to ruin all of it with his horrific behavior.

Her mother had her vision of Natty's future, with a beauty that looked like an Angel, and country house filled with love....and children. In her Mothers vision, Natty kept others safe while her partner healed. Sure enough, after her brother's ordeal, Nox had begun expressing an interest in learning to be a healer. She had never been allowed to even consider it when she lived with her family. She had always spent time with her families healer, and she would get endlessly chastised and mocked. She smiled when she asked Natty what she had to learn to be a healer. It seemed as if most of her Mothers vision was coming to pass.
