You yawn, sitting at your desk in your office. The coffee you just finished wasn't working. After last night's activities with Sakusa, you didn't get much sleep. So, here you are: exhausted but still forcing yourself to write your novel.

You groan, putting your head on your desk. "How can he just confess like that out of nowhere? Now I can't sleep, can't focus, and I'm feeling bad for making him wait for a real answer." You close your eyes, but quickly snap that open. While your eyes were closed, you pictured how Sakusa looked on top of you last night. You almost thought you heard his voice during that split second. You quickly shake your head, trying to clear out all the thoughts building inside it.

A knock is heard on your door.

You furrow your brows, not in the mood to deal with anyone. But, at the same time, you didn't want to have to immediately go back to work. "Come in."

Katsuki happily opens the door, carrying a box of food and (favorite coffee). "I brought some stuff for you. The boss said you're too busy, considering the deadline is sooner than originally planned. I thought I'd get you some pizza and (favorite coffee). You seem like you could use it."

You look at the pizza box, thinking it's a little inconvenient to eat greasy food while typing up a novel. "Thanks." You reach for the coffee the moment it's set down on your desk. You take a big sip of it, hoping that the caffeine will hit you soon.

The intern chuckles, taking a seat on the couch. "You seem more tired than usual, L/n-san. You even have dark circles under your eyes. Couldn't sleep last night?"

"Kiyoomi was over last night and kept me up." You keep your eyes on your screen, rereading what's been written for this chapter in the novel. You make a few corrections, trying to make it a little better before continuing on.

The redhead frowns, unhappy that the volleyball player was mentioned. "I see."

You sigh, closing your eyes and pinching the bridge of your nose. "Sorry, but I'm not in the mood to have anyone in here today. Could you please leave and let me work today?"

Katsuki gets up, moving over to the door. "Of course. Let me know if you need anything, L/n-san."

You hum, not looking at him. You hear the door close and slowly turn to the box on your desk. It was a personal pizza, only four small slices in the box. It couldn't hurt to just eat it and clean up your hands before returning to writing.

Sakusa casually strolls into the office building after practice. He goes up to your floor and is almost to your office when he gets stopped.

Katsuki is glaring at the taller male. "L/n-san needs to be alone today. They doesn't want anyone in their office."

"Well I'm not just anyone. Plus they texted me to come here tonight. I even brought dinner." He holds the plastic bag up, not sparing a single glance at the male trying to stop him. He walks around the intern, heading right to your room. He opens your door, pulling his mask down. "I brought salmon tonight."

You look away from your screen, locking eyes with him. "Thank you. Go ahead and lock the door and take a seat. I had to clean it earlier, so it should be fine for you."

Sakusa places the bag on the desk, raising a brow questioningly. "Why did you have to clean it?"

"One of the interns came in earlier, but I quickly shooed him out since I needed to focus on work."

He hums, leaning back as he takes a seat. "I see. Is it that redhead?"

You nod. "Yeah, Katsuki."

"He tried to kick me out."

Your eyes widened, staring at the male in disbelief. "You're kidding."

Sakusa shakes his head. "No. He tried kicking me out by saying you're not to be disturbed today. I wasn't paying attention to him, so I don't know what kind of face he made when I told him why I'm here. By the way, please take a break to eat. I didn't know how hungry you were, so I just got the salmon and a small bowl of rice."

You look away from him, slowly moving to the bag and grabbing your food out. "Aren't you going to eat too?"

The outside hitter gets up, grabbing his food and chopsticks then goes back to the couch. "I'm more worried about you. You said today was a stressful day and you had to get constant coffee deliveries. Did something happen?"

"Well, I didn't really sleep last night."

"Sorry." He looks at the floor, feeling a little guilty for what he did last night.

You shake your head, opening up the salmon container. "It's fine. It was actually a pretty good night. I guess what was said kinda made it a little difficult to continue writing. I've mainly just done edits and revisions for several hours."

The tall man hums, slowly eating his food. "Is it writer's block, or are you spending time worrying about my feelings and what you should do about it?"

You tense, not daring to look at him. "Was it that obvious?"

"Maybe not to an average person. But I've learned a lot about you since we made this deal. I can tell you're stressed about trying to figure out your feelings so you don't do anything that'll either lead me on or hurt me."

You let out a breath. "I just have a lot going on. I can't determine how I feel right now. But, at the same time, I want to figure things out for your sake."

His eyes sparkled as he looks at you. "Maybe your heart already has an answer, but you just haven't figured it out yet."

"What do you mean?"

Sakusa shrugs, going back to his meal. "Who knows. It was just a thought. But... you shouldn't stress yourself out over trying to figure out whether or not you feel the same for me. I can wait as long as it takes." He smiles, trying to show you that he's being soft for you.

You feel your heart skip a beat. "I see. I'll figure this out when I'm able to. I apologize for making you wait, Kiyoomi."

He shakes his head. "This is nothing. I'd wait for all of eternity for your answer."
