Beyonce's POV
Onika's condo has become my new favorite place. From the stylish furniture to the breathtaking view, every corner of her space exudes warmth and personality. The living room, adorned with cozy throw pillows and an inviting sectional sofa, is the perfect spot to unwind after a long day. During the golden hour, the sunlight floods through the large windows, casting a soft glow that enhances the already serene atmosphere.
Her taste in decor reflects her creativity and zest for life, with vibrant artwork that brings energy to the walls and carefully chosen plants that add a touch of nature to the space. Every detail, from the chic lighting fixtures to the carefully curated bookshelf, tells a story and invites conversation.
But what truly makes her condo special is Onika herself. She is what makes her place feel like a home; you can feel the love spread throughout each room.
We sat on Onika's cream-colored couch, drinking some wine, while the girls went to do their own thing.
Onika rubbed on my exposed thigh as we talked about everyday things. "Who told you you could wear those little shorts?" Onika questioned. "Nobody." I say, staring into her eyes.
I don't know if it's the wine, but I'm feeling really frisky.
"No, Beyonce. I know that look," she said, causing me to pout my lips. "Stop it," she kisses my lips. "We have to talk about something anyway," she continued.
I tilted my head. "Somethings wrong?" I question.
"I don't know how you're going to take this, but Giselle knows about me and you." Onika explained, and my eyes became wide. "How?" I spoke with confusion laced in my voice.
"The day you called me thanking me for the necklace. I only know this from Yara." Onika remained rubbing on my thigh. "Is she upset?"
"No, not at all, but the thing is she's not liking the secrets you're keeping from her because overall this is a change for both you and her." Onika spoke.
"I never thought about it that way before." I drifted off. "You think I should tell her," I say.
"She already knows; I just think she's waiting for you to say something." she replied. "Right, do you mind if I call them down here?" I ask.
"Of course not, baby." She was getting ready to reposition herself so we didn't look as close, but I stopped her. "no need." I allowed us to keep our same position.
"Giselle and Yara come here." I yelled, waiting for the girls to come into the living room. I chugged my wine down; I needed to loosen up a bit before having this conversation. "Yes." in walked Yara and shortly after Giselle.
"Can you both take a seat?" Onika suggested.
Both girls respectfully took a seat, waiting for us to speak. "Firstly, we want to say that we love you both so much and that we have something we want to tell you." I spoke nervously.
I knew that they already knew, but I was nervous to see her reaction.
For a moment, we sat in silence. "If this is about you both dating, I already know, so it isn't a need for you to be nervous." Giselle blurts. "We're happy for you guys, and that means we get to be sisters, so like a win is a win." Giselle smiles at Yara. "So you don't feel anyway?" I inquire.
"No. I'm happy for you! I just wish you didn't keep it a secret from me, especially because our bond has never been that way." Her face became sad.
"Gi, I apologize. I just wanted to protect you. I won't hold anymore secrets. Come here," I say, making Giselle come over to where I and Onika were. I pulled her into the tightest hug, kissing all over her face, making her burst into laughter. "I accept your apology, mama," she smiled at me.
