About you:

same year

You are Daphne twin sister and Astoria older sister. You are a Greengrass.

Pureblood

Gryffindor

Keeper

You start dating when you are both in your fourth year.

Meeting them:

The grand halls of Malfoy Manor shimmered under the glow of hundreds of enchanted candles. You tugged at the hem of your formal robes, feeling a little uneasy in the overly grandiose setting. Being only seven years old, these gatherings, filled with pureblood families like the Blacks, Zabinis, Notts, and of course, the Malfoys themselves, always felt more suffocating than exciting. You, along with your twin sister Daphne and your younger sister Astoria, were instructed to behave properly for this grand event.

"Mother's eyes are on us, Y/N. Keep it together," Daphne whispered in your ear, her lips barely moving as she glanced across the crowded room, her blonde hair gleaming under the chandelier's light. You nodded, though your attention was already drifting.

Astoria tugged at your hand, her curious gaze darting from one aristocratic family to another. She was only five, and the dazzling atmosphere of the manor enchanted her. "Do you think we'll see a peacock in the gardens?" she asked excitedly.

You smiled faintly, but before you could respond, your mother called your name. "Y/N, Daphne, Astoria—come here, darlings."

You straightened up, exchanging a look with Daphne, and led your sisters toward your mother. She stood with a tall, imposing man you recognized immediately as Mr. Nott, one of your father's old friends. Next to him was a boy about your age, standing quietly with his hands in his pockets. His dark brown hair contrasted with his pale skin, and he seemed to carry a certain stillness that made him stand out from the other children you'd met at these gatherings.

"Y/N, Daphne," your mother began, gesturing towards the boy, "this is Theodore Nott. He's the same age as you two."

Theo looked up, his eyes meeting yours with a reserved, almost calculating gaze. He wasn't as talkative or flashy as the other children in the room. While Blaise Zabini was laughing with some other boys near the dessert table, and Narcissa Malfoy's son, Draco, was holding court with a small group near the fireplace, Theo simply stood by his father, silent and watchful.

Daphne, ever the polite one, stepped forward first. "It's nice to meet you, Theodore."

"Nice to meet you too," Theo responded softly, his voice steady but quiet.

You glanced at Daphne, then back at Theo. "Do you want to come with us? Astoria thinks there are peacocks in the garden," you offered, trying to bridge the awkward silence.

Theo hesitated, his eyes shifting toward his father for a moment before he nodded. "Sure."

Together, the four of you walked toward the garden, leaving the overwhelming chatter of the adults behind. The cool evening air was a relief from the warmth of the manor, and you could hear the faint rustling of the trees as the wind picked up. Astoria's excitement was infectious as she skipped ahead, her tiny feet tapping against the stone path.

"So," you began, breaking the silence as you walked next to Theo, "do you like parties like this?"

Theo shrugged. "Not really. My father likes them. He says it's important for... well, for purebloods to socialize."

Daphne nodded as if she understood, but you sensed something different in his tone, as if he didn't entirely agree with his father's views.

"I don't like them either," you admitted, feeling a bit of relief. "Too many people. Too loud."
