It was a busy night at one of the most popular clubs in town, with music blasting through the speakers, neon lights flashing, and people dancing like there was no tomorrow.

Charlie and Babe were in the middle of it all, laughing and having fun together. Tonight, they were just in their own world, sharing smiles and secret glances as they moved to the beat of the music.

Babe leaned in closer to Charlie, his smile wide and genuine. "I'm having so much fun," he said, his voice just loud enough for Charlie to hear over the music.

Charlie, his arm wrapped around Babe's waist, chuckled. "Me too. I love seeing you happy."

Babe blushed a little, feeling the warmth of Charlie's words. He was truly lucky to have someone like Charlie by his side, someone who loved him for who he was. It wasn't always like this for him. Before Charlie, he had a bit of a wild side, with a few flings here and there, never really settling down. But everything changed when Charlie came into his life. Babe couldn't imagine being with anyone else now.

As they danced, Charlie pulled Babe closer, planting a soft kiss on his cheek. Babe's heart skipped a beat. Charlie always had a way of making him feel special.

But just as Babe was about to lean in for a kiss, something or rather, someone caught his eye. A familiar face, one he hadn't seen in a long time, was walking toward them. It was Aidan, an ex-fling from years ago. Babe's heart sank a little. He hadn't thought about Aidan in forever, and seeing him now brought back some awkward memories.

"Babe, who is that...?" Charlie noticed the shift in Babe's mood and followed his gaze.

"Yeah, that's Aidan," Babe said, his tone a little unsure. "We... um, we had a thing a long time ago. It didn't mean anything."

Before Charlie could say anything, Aidan was already standing in front of them, smiling that same confident smile Babe remembered from the past. "Babe, it's been a while," Aidan said, his eyes quickly shifting from Babe to Charlie and back again.

"Hey, Aidan," Babe replied, trying to keep things casual. "Yeah, it's been a long time."

Charlie could sense the tension. He didn't like the way Aidan was looking at Babe. It wasn't just a friendly smile there was something more behind it. Something possessive.

"Who's this?" Aidan asked, nodding toward Charlie.

"This is Charlie, my boyfriend," Babe said, standing a little taller. He wanted to make it clear that he had moved on and was in a committed relationship now.

Aidan's smile didn't waver. "Boyfriend, huh? Interesting." His tone was playful, but there was an edge to it that made Charlie's blood boil.

Babe could feel Charlie's arm tighten around his waist. He knew Charlie wasn't the jealous type, but the situation was clearly bothering him. Before Babe could say anything to diffuse the tension, Aidan continued, "You know, Babe, I've been thinking a lot about you lately. I've missed you."

Babe's heart raced. He didn't want to cause any trouble, especially not tonight when everything had been going so well. But Aidan wasn't backing down. "We had something good, didn't we? I know you remember. You were always so much fun."

Charlie's jaw tightened. He wasn't the type to get into confrontations, but hearing Aidan talk like that was too much. Without a second thought, he pulled Babe even closer and kissed him, right there in front of Aidan and the crowd. The kiss was firm, passionate, and full of emotion. It was Charlie's way of saying, He's mine.

When Charlie finally pulled away, he looked directly at Aidan, his eyes sharp. "I'm not the jealous type," Charlie said, his voice calm but firm, "but what's mine is mine. End of story."
