Day 2

"I still can't believe you got Tzuyu to agree to your proposal," Miyeon caught up with the Japanese, who was happily skipping along while they made their way towards their next classes that were held in the same building.

"I can't believe it myself! I'm so excited! I finally get to take her on a date!" Sana was bouncing off the walls in excitement. She still couldn't believe Tzuyu had accepted her proposal, albeit the time frame was not ideal. Still, Sana was grateful to finally have a sliver of an opportunity to pursue the taller.

"Don't get too carried away. You haven't gotten her to smile or laugh at your pick-up lines."

After yesterday's interaction with Tzuyu, Sana finally updated Miyeon on her not-so-little proposal with Tzuyu. Miyeon was elated for the Japanese but voiced out her concerns that if things didn't go to plan, she feared that Sana would feel dejected if she did not win the taller over by the end of the contract.

Sana simply brushed it off, with her optimism taking over and clouding her judgement. The adrenaline of Tzuyu accepting her proposal was still coursing through her veins even after two days.

"I'm not too worried about that. I'll get her smiling and laughing like the sun shines out my ass with my pick-up lines. I'm sure to score a date with her."

"And what's your success rate for that?" Miyeon shot Sana a pointed look, earning a grumble from the blonde.

"The past is irrelevant. We have to look onward to the present and live our lives to the fullest."

"Don't get all philosophical on me now. I may be in a humanities course, but art and literature are two different things. I didn't take art to learn about literature."

"I'm not even a literature major," Sana defended, rolling her eyes at Miyeon's words.

"And yet you sound as old as the literature professors."

Sana was ready to bark out a response, but her eyes caught sight of a familiar tall brunette a few feet away from them, heading in the same direction as they were.

Her eyes followed the tall brunette as they scanned her up and down. Sana couldn't help it, whenever the brunette was in the vicinity, her eyes would involuntarily drift to the tall goddess. Not that she minded since looking at Tzuyu was always a treat.

"I'll catch you later! See you after class!" Sana chirped out finally snapping out of her daze from the mesmerising beauty of the brunette. She excitedly skipped her way over to the tall brunette, leaving behind a confused Miyeon.

Sana skipped happily towards the tall brunette, slowing her pace down to a brisk walk as she walked past the brunette. She immediately slowed her footsteps down, still maintaining a small distance from the brunette as she waited for the Taiwanese to notice her.

When the brunette didn't speak up even after a minute of purposeful slow walking in front of her, Sana finally turned around. Her feet backpedalled as she made eye contact with the girl.

"Do you believe in love at first sight, or should I walk by again?"

"Only if you promise to keep walking until you're out of my sight."

Sana simply ignored Tzuyu's snarky comeback. The bright smile on Sana's face was still as prominent as ever.

"It's ok if you don't. I believe in it, and I have enough love for the both of us."

"I'd rather you keep that love to yourself."

"Love is meant to be shared. There's plenty to go around," Sana grinned, never once faltering at the brunette's words.

Tzuyu didn't bother responding to the blonde, only shaking her head in response. Fed up with the hopeless optimism of the Japanese.

"Doesn't it get tiring?" Tzuyu uttered. A scowl started to form on her lips with her eyebrows furrowed slightly.

"Doesn't what get tiring?"

"Blindly chasing after me."

"I'm not blinding chasing after you," Sana justified.

"Then what would you call whatever you're doing."

"I'm simply just chasing after you. No additional adjectives needed."

"I will never reciprocate your feelings," Tzuyu sighed in frustration, a hand reached up to rub her temple.

"Never say never," Sana beamed, unfazed by the taller's words.

"I have not accepted any of your invitations in the past months you've been pursuing me. If that's not considered blindly chasing after me, I don't know what is," Tzuyu rounded the corner as she stepped into the building and headed towards the lecture hall.

"You can break that streak and accept my invitation."

Tzuyu scowled in irritation. The frown on her face deepened into a tight-lipped frown at the blonde's flippant attitude. "You've got to stop playing around, Sana. I'm not into you."

"Why not? I'm pretty, intelligent, funny and very into you. Can't you give me a chance to prove to you my feelings for you are true?" The same cheeky smile still played on Sana's lips as she exaggeratedly batted her eyes at Tzuyu.

"You never take anything seriously. This is just another game of yours. I'm not some prize you can win. Whatever tricks you throw my way, I won't fall for them. So, give up while you can and stop wasting my time," Tzuyu barked out, her footsteps growing longer in stride before she finally entered the lecture hall.

"Wha—" Sana started but a loud bang was heard as Tzuyu slammed the door in her face, causing Sana to instinctively step back in response.

Sana couldn't understand Tzuyu's words. Sana wasn't playing any games. So, why was the taller so adamant that she was playing around?

Sana groaned, stepping away from the door as she headed towards her class.

Day 2 was a failure, and she wasn't hopeful for Day 3.
