Imene P.O.V.

I stir in bed as I felt the breeze from the open window. I groggily started to sit up and began to rub my eyes to realize I was in bed alone.

Last night I wanted you to tell Phoenix the truth. That I was a moon goddess. That the current moon goddess gave me one important job - to bring all super natural species together to fight an enemy like no other. But chickened out...

Thoughts of not being believed or trusted by my own mate stopped me from speaking the truth. The fact that it's been a month since I moved into his pack and we still haven't marked or mated. Technically, in wolf terms we're not official mated yet.

Which is really backwards because we're both queen and king already. Ever since we gave eachother a proper chance our bond has been stronger then ever however every time I think we will mate phoenix makes an excuse to leave.

Shay even thinks he is hiding something or someone... and they thought alone makes me sick to my stomach. I know he haven't cheated because I would have felt the betrayal being so close in pack territory.

I decided that I've spent enough time in bed sulking and decided to get ready for today. I haven't been training as much as I use to so wrapped around in my Luna/ Queen duties. I put on a simple sun dress as I wanted to put something on that I can easily slip off as I ran out the house.

Shay has been itching to come out so I figured today was good as any as I let the familiar pain of my bones cracking take over.

I let Shay take over as she ran through the forest with the sound of twigs snapping under our paws. The sound of the birds chirping happily only encourage her to move faster. Running like this reminds me of my old pack and my friends. After training me, joy and James would race back to the pack house in wolf form and whoever lost had to clean the winners rooms.

My father calls to check up on me more than anyone back home. James has called once or twice just to check up on me but I can tell in his strained voice how much he missed me and joy. I wanted him to come here with us but I knew it would be selfish to take him from his home pack for my home sickness.

I was so wrapped up in my own thoughts I didn't realize we were being watched until I noticed Shay stopped running and was now searching the woods. Sensing someone who was not apart of the pack made Shay become alert and growling at the shady figure that started to approach slowly.

"Well I didn't think I would see the queen by herself so far from the pack house." Isaac said while wearing that infamous smirk.

I ran behind a nearby tree to cover my body while I shifted back into my human form before reappearing in my sun dress.

"Why are you following me?" I asked noticing how out of breath he seemed like he was running as well.

"I wasnt... until I saw you running. For a queen you aren't very aware of your surroundings."

"I can handle myself." I said confidently trying to hide the fact I felt his insult.

" I have no doubt Imene. But since I have you here I thought you'll be interested in hearing a story." Issac said leaving a mysterious tone that hinted he knew something I didn't.

" I don't trust you if I'm being honest... why couldn't you tell me the story near the palace?"

"Partly because the smell of too many wolves make me hungry and i like privacy when it involves telling my family lineage."

"Why would you tell me your family lineage? I'm an outsider so why trust me?"

Issac took a step closer as a blink of eye he stood only one inch away from me in a matter of seconds. I tried to control my breathing to hide my nervousness.

" Because it's your family lineage too." He said with the smirk that I've started getting use to seeing. He took my confused state as a signal to keep talking.

"Once upon a time, it lived a witch named Enemi and a wolf named thadus. They grew up as friends which is very uncommon amongst these two species. As they grew they taught eachother about one another- strengths, weaknesses, mates and family secrets as they trusted eachother with everything they loved. They were not each other goddess given mate however they Soon they fell in love and had a baby girl who was born as the first ever silver wolf. Decades went by and the silver wolf was trained as a witch and wolf while being hidden away with her parents. The time came when the silver wolf found her mate... the only problem was that she had two goddess given mates - a werewolf and a vampire." Isssc started to story completly keeping my attention as I was now interested in the rest of the story. We began walking into the direction of the palace as he continued the story.

" the silver wolf had to make a choice on who she wanted to be with because the men refuse to share claim. Her parents wanted her to choose the wolf in hopes she can join a pack and hide her witch side to be safe. Nomatter how hard the silver wolf tried she loved the vampire and chose to run away together. This mating created a son who was a witch,a vampire and a wolf. To protect her son she casted a spell that stripped him of all his werewolf powers making him only a witch and vampire. The son was angry and followed with rage all the time that the silver wolf didn't know what to do . She went to her other mate -the werewolf in hopes he could assist in her son's condition. The werewolf didn't hesitate to aid since he never stopped loving her. They both went back to her house where they found her vampire mate dead at the hands of her son. In horror, the silver wolf ran to her werewolf mate as they left the child alone in a cabin in hopes he would fade away." Issac said as I noticed he was trying to hold in his emotions.

"What happen to the silver wolf? Did she ever go back for her son?"

"No... her and her werewolf mate when back to his pack where they marked and mated then eventually created you." Issac said has he finally looked into my eyes coming out of his dream like daze.

"Me? No my mother was a regular wolf and my father is an alpha." I admitted with a very confused look on my face.

"You really never had any idea? I mean you look absolutely nothing like your siblings, you are stronger than your brother who I believe is supposed to be an alpha heir, and you're a silver wolf. I mean all the signs literally point that you're different." Issac said while rolling his eyes at my naiveness.

"Wait..so are you saying you're my half brother?" I asked now remembering he said that he was talking about his family lineage."

"No... and thank the goddess for that your way to beautiful to be my sister." Issac said while chuckling

"Ok now I'm confused again... what happen to the boy that is supposedly a witch and vampire?"

"His name is lamaj and he is my maker. He saved me from my abusive father when I was human. He made me into his image and trained me to become king of the vampires. He was my mentor for decades until he went ... mad."

"Why did he go mad? Why are you telling me about him if he's your mentor?"

"When he found out that his mother created a witch/werewolf he became vengeful. I even think he killed your mother but I really don't know. What I do know is that he has been looking for you ever since you were born. I'm telling you because a strange part of me wants you safe. I'm telling you all of this because there is only one way you'll be strong enough to fight him."

" and what is that exactly?" I questioned noticing how serious Issac became so abruptly. He grabbed my hands as he pulled me closer to whisper in my ear.

"To become what he once was... what he has been trying to get back ever since it was took from him... to become a tribid."

Before I knew it Issac grabbed me by the neck and bite down in my neck. The sound of paws thudding the forest ground is the last thing I heard before the worked around me went dark.
