Meanwhile,
Somewhere in the building..

Third Person's POV

"Hey, mahal, what do you want for lunch?"

"Lunch? I'm not sure.. I'm still deciding. You have anything specific in mind?"

"You don't have to cook today. I'll buy lunch."

"Oh, irog..thank you. Then make it a surprise for me."

"Good. Can you ask Kana and Sakura what they want?"

"They're not home right now. I'll text her."

"They're not home? Where are they?"

"Strolling in the city, doing kids' stuffs, maybe. They don't go that far--"

(Y/n)'s voice suddenly cut off. Silence filled the air. Izana frowned, pulling the phone away from his ear to check the screen. The call hadn't dropped, and the timer was still running. "(Y/n)?" he called out, concern creeping into his tone. His heart began to race as the seconds ticked by with no response. "Mahal? Are you there?"

"Where are Kana and Sakura?"

Izana froze for a moment as (Y/n)'s voice reached him, her words sharp and laced with a rising panic. His brief sense of relief was immediately replaced by a cold dread. The names "Kana" and "Sakura" hung in the air, like a ticking clock counting down to disaster.

"Where are they going..?" (Y/n) murmured again, almost like she was asking herself.

Izana's pulse quickened. He clenched his phone tighter, trying to keep his voice steady, though he was already on edge. "Sweetie," he said, his voice firm, trying to get her attention, "what do you mean? Where are they?"

(Y/n)'s breath hitched. "Izana, they're going quite far," she whispered shakily. "Kana and Sakura-I don't know where they're going. This location is unfamiliar and far from our home. I-"

"Where are they now?"

"I-I don't know!" (Y/n)'s voice wavered, guilt and worry filling every word. "I need to go find them-"

Izana stood up abruptly, his body already moving, heart racing with a sense of urgency. "Mahal, listen to me," he said sharply, using the affectionate term, signing that he needed her immediate attention, "send me their location. Now. And STAY PUT. Don't you fucking leave the house."

"But-

"No." His tone was firm, unyielding, as he reached for his jacket. "Stay where you are. I'll find them. I don't want you going missing too. I can't deal with that."
