     So, this explanation may look long, but I think it would be worth it to read through it all to prevent any future confusion since this AU is a bit complicated.
     What you need to know:
- The inhabitants if this universe can either be sorcerers, merpeople or Lupus people:
     - Sorcerers can perform magic spells and curses; they think that the merfolk have been completely eradicated in the Old War; they are a monarchy
     - Merfolk use brute force and weapons (like spears) in battle; they typically keep away from land, which they call Terra Firma, and the people that live on it, called Terrawalkers (includes both Lupus people and sorcerers); they are a monarchy, and each member of the royal family has special markings running along their body
     - Lupus people use brute force, their claws, their fangs and weapons in battle; they typically dislike being wet; they live in packs with each one alpha, and each pack has its own name
- The in-game characters that, so far, are expected to make an appearance or be mentioned in this book-along with their species-are:
     - Rui; merman
     - Tsukasa; sorcerer
     - Mafuyu; mermaid/sorceress hybrid
     - Kanade; mermaid
     - Mizuki; sorcerer/merperson hybrid
     - Nene; mermaid
     - Emu; mermaid
     - Akito; merman
     - Toya; sorcerer/Lupus person hybrid
     - Saki; sorceress
     - Shiho; Lupus person
     - Honami; Lupus person
     - Ichika; sorceress
     - Airi; Lupus person
     - Shizuku; Lupus person
There will most likely be one or more Akitoya focus chapter(s)!
     Note that characters that are not on the list may still appear, and that only segments of the story have been planned out at this point.
