One month later...

Okay, this is my first time doing this, so let's start from the beginning.

My name is Elizabeth (L/N). For the past couple of months, I've been one of the three spider people in New York.

I started out making my older brother's Spider Suit after he got his powers, and I've been supportive of him ever since. After dad died, it was tough for me, mom, and him as well.

He later got his hands on this weird black alien goo that I now use as Venom Spider. Oh, I forgot, he and I are also mutants with telepathy. It makes crime fighting a lot easier when you can just read people's minds.

Honestly, it's fun being with him and Gwen in the sky. Gwen is the other spider. She goes by Ghost Spider. It fits ever since she learned how to cloak herself.

I saved the city, accidentally blew up the Daily Bugle, only a little though. Jameson was not happy with two spiders. Now he's got three.

I nearly flunked my math class in the first couple weeks because of Scorpion wanting to fight my brother again, so I had to handle him.

All in all, life's been pretty average so far. Ever since we dealt with the Brotherhood, some mutants who wanted me and my brother along for mutant domination, things felt off.

My brother got captured by this guy called Mr. Sinister and experimented on non-stop for an entire day. He said it was only a day, but it felt like a year. Even though he died and came back to life stronger than before, he still has trouble using his telepathy. He says every time he uses it, he can hear Sinister speaking to him, worming his way into his mind.

But he said he could handle it. Mostly taking the issue into his own hands.

He does a lot of things alone as of recent. He makes time to talk to me and Gwen, mom, his bosses at Oscorp, and the X-Men. But he doesn't really acknowledge Sinister anymore. It's like a trigger word, and I notice he always tenses up at the mention of the word.

I wanna help him, but he kinda shut everyone out and puts on a lie about being fine. Most believe it, but I can read his mind. He's in more pain than ever before, but he refuses to elaborate.

This is why I do my best as Venom to save as many people as possible. So he can relax and rest easy. Though mom gave us a strict curfew so we can actually sleep, I don't think Nocturne listens to it all that much.

I hope he isn't doing anything dangerous.

That night inside an office. A man in a suit whistles to himself. Writing some stuff down in his notebook.

The light sound of rain tapping outside his window.

Kingpin: You gonna stand in the shadows or come out.

On command, you fall from the ceiling. Making no sound at all in your dark suit.

You tilt your hat some in a greeting.

Nocturne: Evening.

Kingpin: You didn't bring your tiger with you. I take it this isn't a fight.

Nocturne: No fighting. I just want answers. You've been sending freaks after me and now I want to know of you're responsible for a couple more of Frankenstein's creatures.

You toss a file onto his desk with gruesome images in them. Blood splattered in all of them.

Kingpin: You think I did this?

Nocturne: I think you fitted them with their gear or whoever is doing this. Two different monsters. But both seem to love biting or eating people. These images are from two different scenes. One left the victim in a comatose state, but nearly drained her of all her blood. The other, he clearly has no regard for human life and ripped his victims apart.
