Zhongli; "If had I arrived even a second later, this one would have been dead" He layed Bannet on the ground who was still frozen from shock.
Zhongli crossed his arms.
"Now..."
"Playtime is over"
The Abyss Herald watched with fear.
Abyss Herald; "I have to get out of here"
He stumbled back as he turned to make a run for it.
Zhongli suddenly appeared in front of him with his arms crossed, "Going somewhere I see?"
The Abyss Herald stopped in its tracks frozen and not knowing what to do, "GET OUT OF MY WAY"
It took out its arm blade and attempted to stab Zhongli. A stone pillar formed to block the attack and the Herald blasted a hydro attack out the other arm which was blocked by Zhongli's shield.
The Herald unleashed a flurry of Hydro blades at Zhongli. However, he remained calm and stoic watching the Herald's futile attempt. After a while of waiting it out Zhongli finally made a move. He was suddenly right in front of the Herald catching him off guard, "S-so fast!"
Without another moment to think the Herald felt an excruciating pain in it's abdomen and the next moment when he looked up he was launched thousands of feet away into a nearby mountain, destroying it on impact.
The Abyss Herald gasped trying to recover and activated its hydro barrier again, but as it looked up a massive stone spear the size of a mountain came flying towards it. Luckily the Herald just managed to get out of the way and charged back at Zhongli attempting to grab his face and blast him. Zhongli caught his wrist mid air and kicked him back.
The Abyss Herald grunted in pain as it flew back watching Zhongli who was still rather calm.
Zhongli; "What's the point, you have no chance of beating me. Either you get a quick painless death or you can make this hard for yourself. I don't mind what you pick"
Abyss Herald; "Are you implying I'm weak? Well then"
Suddenly everything around started shaking and water started rising from a nearby lake, "You claim that I'm no threat to you! But that's assuming you can protect both yourself and these children from suffocation!"
The Abyss Herald raised its arms and a huge body of water from the lake flowed midair into a massive sphere.
