14 July
(A/n: pretty dramatic time leap but I hope you like it. ps, still haven't written this chapter yet)Three years. It's been a little over three years since Liam and I have been together. It's also been a year since One Direction has ended for good. It was bitter sweet. People have figured out that Liam and I are together but we haven't officially come out yet. We're in no rush to come out, we honestly don't think it's anyone's business if we're together or not. Things have finally settled down and we can finally leave the house without getting bombarded. I was drawn out of my thoughts by Liam's kisses along my shoulder.
"Yes?" I asked, knowing he only does this to get my attention.
"I missed you," he said. We had just come back from visiting our families and spending time away from each other. We both need our alone time sometimes, which is a good thing. It's good to spend time away from each other, to miss each other, and reflect on how much we love each other. And coming back home to him is the best feeling in the world. This has also been the longest we've been apart; three weeks.
"I missed you, too," I said and hugged him. We haven't had a chance to actually talk since we both came home. We were too busy doing other things. Three weeks without sex is difficult, okay. Especially when you go from doing it all the time to nothing at all. And Liam's like really good at it.
"You really missed me, huh?" He grinned, pulling away and glancing at my hard on. I groaned and shoved him.
"Fuck off," I muttered. He chuckled and picked me up abruptly and headed for the stairs.
"Li, why are you carrying me, I can walk, you know," I said.
"Missed messing with you," he shrugged and carried me up the stairs. I decided not to argue with it and just let it happen. Once we got to our room, he put me down on the bed and I sighed happily.
"I've missed our bed so much," I said, closing my eyes and cuddling a pillow. "Probably more than you missed me," he laughed and got into bed.
"Not true, Li," I said and turned to face him. He smiled his eye crinkling smile and I could only smile right back.
"I feel like I did when I had the biggest crush on you," I said making him laugh and kiss me softly.
"I'm never leaving for longer than a week anymore, I just missed you a lot," he mumbled.
"Agreed," I chuckled.
"What'd you do over there, anything fun?" He asked.
"Hung out with my family and a couple of friends, nothing special. Spent most of the time trying to sleep without you there to cuddle," I admitted.
"Aw, babe," he murmured and kissed my forehead.
"Shush," I mumbled. I got up and laid on top of him, resting my head on his shoulder.
"What are you doing, Niall?" he chuckled.
"Laying on you," I shrugged.
"Clearly, but why?" He grinned.
"Cause I missed this," I said. He giggled and wrapped his arms around me.
"You're cute," he said. I kissed his neck lightly.
"Mhm," I hummed.
"I missed your neck kisses," he murmured.
"They're kinda the best, aren't they?" I grinned.
"You're the best," he said. I rolled my eyes and lightly nipped at his skin.
"You're so lame," I chuckled.
"Mean," he mumbled. I smiled and softly kissed his neck. Recently, I've been thinking about us getting engaged. I honestly feel so ready for the rest of my life with him. The question is, is he still feeling the same. I think both of us are old enough and mature enough for it. Anyway, I want to have a semi-long engagement too. Not too long, but long enough. I couldn't wait to do everything with him.
"Babe," he said. I hummed and continued kissing his neck.
"Are you feeling alright?" He asked. I nodded and pulled away to stare at him.
"What?" He said slowly. I smiled widely and ran my fingers through his hair.
"Niall, seriously, do you need something?" He chuckled.
"Ask me again," I said.
"What?" He blinked.
"Ask me again," I repeated.
"What are you- oh, oh," he shook his head in shock.
"Ask me, Liam," I smiled.
"Seriously?" He asked. I nodded and he pulled me down and kissed me abruptly. I giggled and kissed him back.
"Still haven't asked me," I said, pulling away.
"Will you marry me?" He asked. I nodded eagerly and kissed him while giggling uncontrollably.
"Yes, yes, yes," I said, kissing his face over and over.
"What made you change your mind?" He asked, still smiling beautifully.
"Was thinking a lot about it while we were apart and I really want this," I said and kissed his cheek.
"I- are you sure?" He stammered.
"I'm more than sure, Liam, I want to spend the rest of my life with you. I want this more than anything," I nodded.
"I love you, you know that?" He blushed and has yet to stop smiling.
"Obviously, I wouldn't be marrying you if you didn't," I said, and saying it out loud made it so much real. I'm so lucky to be marrying the love of my life.
"Love hearing you say that," he said. I kissed him, putting everything into that kiss. When I pulled away, he flipped us over and stared down at me.
"I love you, Li," I said, reaching up and stoking his cheek. I pulled his face closer to mine and kissed him lightly.
"Love," he murmured. I grinned and raised my eyebrow at him.
"Yes?" I said.
"When do you want to actually get married?" He asked, "like wedding and all?"
"I'm in no rush," I said, "what about you?"
"Same, kinda want a long engagement but not too long that it drags on, you know?" He said.
"I was thinking the same thing," I smiled.
"Fiancé," he said and I smirked, "I like it," he grinned.
"I think you make it sound even better than it is" I admitted. He laughed and kissed my forehead.
"That's cute, Niall," he said.
"I wanna stay like this forever," I said, wrapping my arms around him.
"Forgot to tell you, the guys are coming over for a 'reunion', as H said," he mumbled. Not that I didn't want to see them, I just really wanted to lay here with Liam.
"When?" I asked.
"What time is it now?" He asked. I reached for my phone to check it before answering him.
"It's 4:30 right now," I said.
"Well they said around 5, but we both know that that means 6 if we're lucky, so we have a while," he chuckled.
"We need to celebrate," I said abruptly.
"I am not drinking," he said and shook his head.
"We don't need to drink to celebrate," I said. We stared at each other before bursting into laughter.
"I'm sorry, Niall, but that's the funniest thing you've ever said," he said in between his laughing. Laughing, I nicely pushed him off and sat up.
"Come on, Li," I said.
"I really don't want to drink a lot," he said.
"You don't have to," I shrugged, "I'll be sure to stop you at the right time."
"How do you know when the right time is?" He asked slowly.
"Easily. After 5 beers you start getting a little buzzed. After 4 shots of tequila, you're a bit tipsy, and 6 shots of tequila, you're laughing your ass off for no reason. You can't handle vodka. Do you want me to keep going?" I chuckled.
"You're insane," he said, "how do you know all of that?"
"I watch you from time to time, to know when to stop you because you're really cranky when you're hungover," I joked and he shoved me.
"I'm joking, love. I just like to make sure you're being safe," I said.
"I love you, Niall," he said, wrapping his arm around my waist. He kissed my cheek and thanked me.
"Come on we have to go clean up downstairs since they're coming over," I said, remembering the mess we made when we had sex just about everywhere downstairs.
"Okay," he smirked.
"Dibs on not doing laundry today," I called while dashing out of the room.
"Not fair," I heard him grumble from our room. I chuckled and got a beer from the fridge when I got into the kitchen. I took a sip before I started to clean. I picked up all of our clothes that were scattered everywhere and handed them to Liam when I bumped into him.
"Thanks, fiancé," I grinned and pecked his cheek. He rolled his eyes and stalked off to the laundry room.
"Love you," I yelled and he flipped me off. I smirked and continued straightening everything up. Since neither of us like to do laundry, especially Liam, I decided to do the rest of the house. I first went to drink most, if not all, of my beer.
"Damn it, Niall, you should be cleaning not drinking," Liam said and I could almost hear his eye roll.
"I was cleaning, I just got thirsty," I said.
"Okay, Niall," he chuckled. He came into the kitchen and grinned at me. I walked up to him and pushed him against the counter. I kissed him until he whimpered and pushed me off.
"Sorry, love, my back hurts. Never having sex in the laundry room ever again," he said making me laugh loudly.
"It was fun though," I shrugged. He smirked and nodded. I slapped his ass and winked at him before going into the living room to finish straightening up. Once I was finished, I sat down on the couch and sighed.
"You're hot," Liam said, coming from around the couch and sitting next to me. He handed me another beer, which I was grateful for.
"Am I?" I asked, smirking at him before taking a swing of my beer.
"Definitely," he nodded. I pecked his cheek and chuckled.
"We should really get dressed for when they come over," I sighed.
"But you look really good like that," he said and I glanced down at myself. I was only wearing my Calvin Klein's and honestly there was nothing special about me.
"You're delusional," I chuckled and got up. He grabbed my hand and I rolled my eyes before pulling him up. I set my bottle down before heading upstairs. I got into our room and decided on wearing sweats. I felt Liam's eyes on me and I laughed at him.
"Stop staring and get dressed," I said. I put on loose sweatpants and a t shirt. He put on skinny jeans and a tight shirt making me chuckle.
"There are two types of people," I said, gesturing to each of us. He laughed and shrugged.
"Like I said before, you look better in comfier clothes," he said, "and I like your sex hair, too. It's sexy."
"Oh god," I mumbled and ran my hand through my hair.
"I like it," he said.
"You'd think I was hot even if I was wearing a trash bag," I chuckled and walked into the bathroom to fix my hair. He stood behind me and smiled. He kissed my neck softly as I managed to tame my hair. The doorbell rang and I sighed.
"Come on, love," I said. He sucked harder at my neck, leaving a mark and darting out of the bathroom.
"Asshole," I yelled and followed him downstairs. I jumped on his back once we were downstairs and nipped at his neck.
"Are you going to get off or should I just answer the door like this?" He asked.
"I'm not getting off," I said and kissed his cheek. He laughed and opened the door, revealing three eager boys.
"Hi guys," I grinned, hopping off Liam and pulling Louis into my arms.
"Hey, Lou, how've you been?! It's been months," I said and pulled away.
"I've been great, you?" He asked.
"Great, better than great actually," I said before saying hi to both Harry and Zayn. Liam went to get drinks for everyone while I stuck to my beer.
"What have you two been up to?" Zayn asked.
"Hanging around, visiting our parents," I said, "what about all of you?"
"Same thing," Harry answered and the rest of them nodded.
"It's weird not seeing you guys everyday," I said, not realizing how much I've missed them all.
"Oh come on, guys, don't get all emotional right now," Liam said, walking into the room with loads of drinks. He sat down next to me and I wrapped my arm around his waist. He glanced at me and smirked before saying something to one of the guys that I wasn't really paying attention to.
"Hold on," Zayn said, catching my attention, "wild sex hair, love bites, extremely giddy... What are you two hiding?" He asked. Liam and I both shrugged and they stared at us doubtfully.
"You guys are the weirdest couple," Harry said.
"We've had this conversation plenty of times before, we know, H," I chuckled.
"Should we tell them?" Liam whispered in my ear.
"Give it a few minutes," I said. He smirked and nodded. I drank the rest of my third beer and say back.
"Okay, you guys are definitely hiding something," Zayn said. Louis grinned, probably figuring it out by now. Liam kissed my neck discreetly and smiling. He sucked softly on my neck and I giggled.
"Control your boyfriend, Niall," Zayn said. I smirked, knowing he hated PDA.
"Fiancé," I corrected him.
"What?" Zayn blinked.
"Are you serious?" Harry said.
"We're engaged," Liam said and I smiled widely.
"That's insane, congratulations," Harry said. They congratulated us and hugged us one by one.
"Since when?" Louis asked once everything settled down.
"Since earlier today," Liam answered.
"You owe me $100, Zayn," Louis said.
"You put money on this?" I asked, "and Lou, that's so not fair because- never mind," I said and shook my head.
"What exactly was the bet?" Liam asked slowly.
"If you two would get engaged before or after you'd been together for 5 years," Zayn said and handed Louis the money.
"You guys are assholes," I chuckled.
"Assholes that love you guys," Louis smiled and winked at me. Liam blushed and kissed my cheek.
"Love you," he murmured into my ear. I nodded and leaned closer to him.
"I'm really happy for you guys," Zayn said. I thanked him, ecstatic that our friends were happy for us. I stayed quiet as they talked and caught up. I was wondering when we were going to tell our parents. How we were going to tell our parents. Though I was extremely excited about us getting engaged and I was so ready to take the next step in our relationship, it still made me anxious. But that's a normal thing, right? Liam lightly squeezed my hand, noticing my slight change in mood, and I glanced up at him and smiled reassuringly.
"I don't think you two will ever get out of the puppy love stage," Harry commented. I shrugged; I happened to love the way our relationship is.
"It's annoyingly cute," Louis said.
"You're annoyingly cute, Lou," I chuckled, winking at him. He beamed at me, looking about 5 years old and I laughed.
"You and Louis are just annoying," Zayn said to me.
"Rude," Louis said. I chuckled and got up to get another drink for myself. I walked into the kitchen and found myself cookies, devouring them. Remembering the drink, I got myself water and drank it slowly.
"Hey, Ni, are you alright?" Louis asked, coming into the kitchen and standing next to me.
"Yeah, I'm great, why, Lou?" I asked, glancing at him.
"Cause you're stress eating," he said, gesturing to the cookie in my hand.
"I'm not stress eating, I'm just eating," I said.
"Seriously, Niall, are you okay?" He asked.
"Why do you keep asking me this?" I asked slowly.
"Because I know about what happened the first time he asked and how you freaked out. I just want to make sure that you're really okay with this," he said.
"I'm okay. I was the one who initiated the whole engagement conversation. Yes, I'm still nervous and scared as hell about it but I really want this with him, you know?" I sighed.
"I just want you to be happy," he said and I smiled. I wrapped my arm around his shoulders and pecked his cheek.
"Thank you, Lou," I said.
"My little baby is growing up," he said making me chuckle.
"Shut up," I blushed and shoved him lightly.
"Come here," he laughed and pulled me into a hug. I tightened my arms around him, feeling myself tear up from how happy I was in this moment.
"Ni, are you crying?" Louis chuckled, pulling away. I wiped my eyes and shook my head quickly.
"I'm just really happy right now," I laughed softly. He smiled and stroked my cheek softly.
"Come on, Niall, they're probably wondering what's taking so long," he said. I nodded and completely wiped away all the evidence of my previous tears. I took my water bottle to the living room and sat down next to Liam. He lightly traced random shapes on my back while continuing his conversation with Zayn.
"Guys, I think it's time for our annual Fifa match," Louis announced.
"I'm down," Harry said.
"Count me in," Zayn said.
"Pass me a controller," Liam said. They all looked at me and it was honestly the most terrifying thing to see all their eager faces staring at me.
"I'm really don't feel like playing," I admitted.
"Lame," Harry said.
"I'll watch you all suck at it though," I grinned.
"Let's go play in the theater, it's cooler," Liam said and on cue, they all got up and raced each other to the room. I rolled my eyes and followed them. The pair of boxers hanging off one of the chairs caught my eye and I discreetly took them and tossed them into the corner. It made me giggle to myself before going to sit down. I plopped down next to Liam and snuggled up with him.
"You're going to distract me and make me lose," he mumbled.
"I won't do it on purpose," I said. They started playing and I watched, not that interested may I add. They took the game way too seriously, which was hilarious in my opinion. Zayn and Liam were absolutely awful and I couldn't help but laugh.
"You're making fun of me," Liam mumbled, not taking his eyes off the screen. I chuckled and kissed his cheek.
"Sorry, Li, you're just really bad at this," I said. He rolled his eyes making him look 10 times more adorable than before.
"You really do suck, Liam," Louis piped up from behind us.
"I'll suck your dick," Liam whispered to me and I smirked before laughing.
"When and where, love?" I asked and made sure the other guys couldn't hear me.
"Ten minutes and wherever you want," he grinned.
"I'll be waiting for you in our room," I murmured.
"Okay, sexy, be up in a few," he smirked. I kissed his jaw and got up, making my way out of the theater and upstairs. I laid in bed and scrolled through Twitter on my phone. There was nothing interesting on it, which made me even more impatient for Liam to get here. I grinned when I heard footsteps growing louder up the stairs and I knew it was him.
"Pull your pants down, Niall." Liam said once he came into the room, closing the door and locking it. I did what he told me to and pulled him on top of me. I tugged at his shirt, wanting to feel his skin.
"No time for that," he said and moved down and wrapped his hand around my dick. He winked up at me before taking me into his mouth. I moaned at how good it felt, how amazing it felt. I gripped his hair with one hand and the sheets with another.
"Can I?" I breathed, lifting my hips slightly. He made a sound of approval and I slowly pushed myself further into his mouth. He looked up at me through his eyelashes and winked. I moaned and threw my head back in complete bliss.
"Holy fuck, Liam," I groaned when he pulled off. He grinned and moved up to kiss my cheek.
"I'll let you finish up here," he smirked and pecked my lips before disappearing downstairs. I rolled my eyes but indeed finished up and went to the bathroom to wash my hands. I quickly made my way back to the theater, getting disgusted looks from the rest of the boys while Liam sat cheekily on his sofa. I mimicked their looks of disgust, making them chuckle, and sat down next to Liam.
"You good?" Liam asked, not taking his eyes off the screen. I nodded and kissed his neck.
"Ni," he murmured and I shook my head, sucking on his neck harder. He clenched his jaw to keep him from making any noise and I tried my best not to laugh.
"Fuck you," he breathed. Grinning, I pulled away from his neck and kissed his cheek instead.
"You guys are so fucking gross," Zayn said out of nowhere and I laughed.
"Maybe if you kept your eyes on the screen you wouldn't suck so much," I said. Everyone laughed, agreeing with me while Zayn huffed.
"Asshole," he said and I shot him a grin.
"You're so distracting, Niall," Liam mumbled.
"I'm not even doing anything," I said, then smirked when I realized he was most likely fantasizing about me.
"You just sitting there is distracting," he said and I shrugged.
"Want me to move?" I asked.
"Not really," he decided and leaned closer to me.
"Then don't complain, Li," I chuckled and wrapped my arm around his waist. He smiled and glanced me, pecking my lips lightly.
"God damn it, Liam, you made us lose," Louis exclaimed and I giggled.
"My fault," I said, "sorry, Lou."
"How do you two ever get anything done? Honestly, you guys are always all over each other, it makes me wonder how anything gets done," Harry said.
"Everything gets done eventually," Liam shrugged.
"Gross," Zayn shuddered.
"Relax, Zayn, it's not like we're just going to rip each other's clothes off and fuck right in front of you guys," I said.
"Unless you want us too," Liam smirked and I glanced at him and raised my eyebrow.
'Seriously?' I mouthed and he shrugged.
"I wouldn't mind," Harry said.
"Would be kinda hot," Louis said. I snickered and rolled my eyes.
"You guys are both hot so," Zayn shrugged.
"Don't you guys have computers at home where you can search all this up?" I asked and laughed.
"Nothing's better than the real thing, right?" Harry said.
"Let's get this over with then, Liam," I said.
"Seriously?" Louis asked.
"No, you horny idiots!" I said, looking at their overly eager faces, "seriously you all need to get laid or something."
"Glad I'm not them," Liam whispered in my ear and I nodded and chuckled.
"Lame," Harry sighed.
"Could be fun though," Liam murmured into my ear.
"Shut up," I rolled my eyes.
"We all know who wears the pants in the relationship," Louis joked. I sighed and got up to get myself something to drink. I went to the fridge that was conveniently in this room and got myself a beer. I chugged half of it, not wanting to be completely sober for any of the conversations the guys were going to have. Considering this was my fourth one, I was beginning to feel bubbly. Thankfully. I walked back to where I was sitting and sat down.
"Give me some," Liam said, reached for my bottle. I handed it to him, feeling nice and he smiled.
"Love when you've have a few drinks because you do everything I ask," he chuckled and drank it. I shrugged and noticed that no one was playing anymore and I turned a random movie on.
"I'm going to go drink some more, wanna come?" I asked Liam, glancing up at him.
"Not really," he said slowly, "are you alright?"
"I'm great, Li," I assured him. He stared at me, trying to see if I was lying or not.
"Are you-"
"Liam, seriously, I'm fine," I murmured and got up. I went to the kitchen and sighed. I ran my hand through my hair before getting out a bottle of tequila and drinking some of it. I just wanted to clear my head and loosen up. Yes I want to be engaged, yes I love Liam, but it still overwhelms me. I managed to not freak out in front of everyone but now it felt like I couldn't breathe. I sat down at the table and put my face in my hands. Is this the right decision? Of course it is, it has to be. I drank some more from the bottle, remembering to control myself. I pushed it away from me and lightly hit my head repeatedly on the table. Obviously I want this, I wouldn't have asked for it if I didn't, but actually being engaged still terrifies me. I ran my hand through my hair, something I did every time I'm stressed. I took another very unnecessary drink and sighed. Don't get me wrong, I was extremely happy when he asked me, but now it just hit me that this is actually happening. I was on the verge of an anxiety attack stressing over this.
"Niall, are you okay? Why are you- is everything alright?" Harry asked quickly and making me jump. He took the bottle away from me, putting it away before sitting next to me.
"Whats wrong, Ni?" He asked quietly.
"Just freaking out," I slurred.
"Because of what, what happened?" He asked.
"The whole engagement thing. I want this, I do, but I don't know something about it just freaks me out," I rambled.
"You need to calm down, Ni, this is a good thing for you two. Everything's going to be okay, you just need to relax," he murmured and rubbed my back.
"I don't want to let him down again," I said.
"You guys are meant to be together, Niall. Getting engaged and married is part of being together. It's normal to be nervous, Niall," he said and I nodded.
"Thanks, H," I nodded.
"I would sober up if I were you, relax, and talk to Liam who's fidgeting in there, looking at the door every 2 seconds for your return," he chuckled softly and patted my back. I nodded and gripped his arm, preventing him from leaving.
"Can you tell him to come over here?" I asked.
"Sure," he smiled. I thanked him and got up, dizzily, but managed to get myself a water. I held onto the counter while taking a sip of the water and sighed.
"Niall," Liam's voice poured into the kitchen. I turned around and looked at him, frowning at his worried face.
"Babe," I murmured.
"You're drunk, aren't you?" He asked.
"Slightly," I said, but I knew how to manage my alcohol and be completely aware of what's happening even if I'm a bit drunk.
"What's wrong, Niall?" He asked. I grabbed his hip and pulled him closer to me.
"I love you, babe," I said, "and I want you to know that I one hundred percent want to be with you and engaged to you. I'm not second guessing it or anything. And I don't want you to worry that I'm not happy or anything, cause I am. Yes I'm still a bit nervous, but I don't regret anything."
"I just want you to be happy, Niall," he whispered and stroked my cheek.
"And I am, I really am. You know my anxiety issues and how I freak out over everything," I mumbled and he kissed my cheek softly while I continued talking, "I'm beyond happy to be with you. Trust me, Li."
"Just talk to me when you start feeling like that," he said. I nodded and hugged him; being overly affectionate while drunk is what I'm known for.
"I love you," he said and pulled away, "and did you drink my tequila?" He asked.
"I didn't see your name on it," I shrugged. He rolled his eyes and pecked my cheek.
"I know that it makes you extremely tired and cuddly," he said as I yawned.
"Then come cuddle with me," I said, nuzzling my face in his neck. He sighed and shook his head.
"Can't, love, the guys are probably wondering where we are," he said.
"Fine, but you're still cuddling with me in there," I said and kissed his cheek.
"Okay," he nodded and pulled away from me.
"Carry me," I said.
"Are you serious?" He asked then looked at my swaying realizing I really did need to be carried because I'd most definitely fall if I wasn't.
"Idiot," he chuckled and turned around so I could jump on his back.
"I love you," I repeated in his ear as he carried me back to the theater. I kissed behind his ear and he giggled.
"Back so soon, lovebirds?" Louis asked when we got into the room.
"Shut up, Lou," Liam laughed. I whimpered when Liam put me down and tugged on his hand for him to lay next to me. He grinned at me before laying down and pulling my into his arms. I snuggled into his chest and sighed.
"I do love you, Li," I murmured.
"I know and I love you, too," he said and kissed the top of my head. I nodded and gripped his hip lightly before slipping my hand under his shirt and scratching his back softly.
"You know, Ni, I still haven't given you the ring yet," he whispered in my ear and I slowly pulled my face from his chest.
"I don't mind, I'm not very materialistic," I said but smiled at the gesture.
"You're so weird and cute when you're a little drunk," he chuckled and kissed my forehead.
"I think we're going to leave you two to do whatever it is you're going to do," Zayn said and I honestly forgot they were even there.
"Sorry guys," Liam chuckled, "promise I'll make it up to you."
"It's fine, Liam, you guys should be celebrating right now anyway," Louis grinned and tousled out hair before following Zayn and Harry out.
"Bye, love you!" I called.
"Love you!" They yelled back. I looked at Liam and he smiled.
"Let's go upstairs," I said and he smirked. "Don't look at me like that, I just want to cuddle with you," I said.
"Come on," he chuckled and pulled me up. I managed to get upstairs without falling, thanks to Liam's incredible grip on me.
"Love you," I said when we made it to the room. He smiled and went rummaging through very peculiar areas of the room. I shrugged and sat on the bed.
"Niall," he said and I blinked up at him.
"You look serious, what is it?" I chuckled. He sat next to me and presented the ring. I couldn't help the tears forming in my eyes and I shoved him.
"Shouldn't have done this while I'm drunk," I laughed and he wiped my eyes.
"I love you, idiot," he smiled and took my left hand into his.
"I hate you," I chuckled and wiped my eyes as he slowly put the ring on my finger.
"Beautiful," I said, "it really is, Li, thank you." I hugged him and stared at my hand. The ring felt and looked so right on me like it was meant to be there for ages. He pulled away smiling and kissed my forehead. He laid us both down and I cuddled him. I played with the ring on my finger, rotating it and staring at it.
"It's gorgeous, Liam," I said. He smiled and nodded.
"Tried to get something as beautiful as you but I couldn't find anything so I went to the next best thing," he blushed.
"You're so cute," I smiled and kissed him.
"It's late and you're tired, you should get some sleep," Liam chuckled after staring at me. I nodded and turned around so my back was against him. He wrapped his arm around me and intertwined our fingers.
"Goodnight, love," I murmured.
"Goodnight, fiancé," he said and I smiled wildly.
"I'll never get over you calling me that," I said. He giggled and nodded.
"Go to sleep, Niall," he said and yawned. I began to dozed off, completely and utterly in love with Liam.-
