3rd Person POVLily and Maya were smiling to themselves as they knew they pressed Shawn's buttons. Riley, still wanting her Uncle Shawn to confess what he knows, asked him a question again. "Okay, that's it. When's my birthday, Uncle Shawn?" Shawn just tilted his head in annoyance while Cory, again, answered for his friend, knowing that this wouldn't end well if he answered the girl's question himself.
"He knows, Riley."
"You keep in saying that. Why won't he answer? What did I do?", Riley asked, thinking she did something wrong. Shawn smiled at the girl before putting his napkin down and standing up. He walked to the door but stopped on the carpet and turned back to the table.
"You coming or what?", he asked while gesturing then to follow him. The girls complied and followed him out of the apartment and into the cold, windy New York air.Everyone at the table was silent for a moment before Lily stood up and threw away any bone left and scraped off her plate into the trash can. She then went over to the sink, rinsed off her plate, and placed it in the empty dishwasher. Soon, everyone followed her example and did so as well, helping out a tired Topanga. They all went off to do their own thing while the three that previously left were now in a booth at Svorski's.

The girls were sitting across from Shawn, leaning on the table with a bit of food and mugs in front of them. "December 8th", Shawn said abruptly. The girls weren't really listening and didn't realize what he said.
"What?"
"Your birthday?", Shawn asked, hoping to give some clarification to the girl's inquiry.Maya didn't think this was enough information so she spoke her mind. "That doesn't save you. I know her birthday, but I don't abandon my friends to hit the road."
"Whoa."
"You think that's fair?", Shawn asked after hearing Maya's slightly hurtful words.
"I do", Maya said, standing by her point and her previous points made earlier.
"Then this is fair too. What time was she born? How much did she weigh? How tall was she?", Shawn asked and the girls knew they had been played by the man."Uh-oh", the girls said in unison.
"6:00 in the morning, seven pounds, four ounces, 21 inches. I was there all night. I was the first person to hold you after your parents. You looked like this", Shawn said before scrunching up his face and pursing his lips in a thin but outward line. Maya, being herself, said that she still does look like that. Riley looked at her with a slightly shocked expression before doing the same face Shawn made, mainly directed at her best friend.Riley turned back to Shawn after the two friends giggled and asked him a question. "Why do you remember it all so well?", Riley asked with a genuine curiosity on how the man could remember it all so well after 13 years.
"It was the day I left New York City."
"City wasn't big enough for the both of you?", Maya asked in a sarcastic tone. Shawn looked at the girl with a frown before talking to both of them, explaining his situation."When people get married and they have kids, sometimes their old friends who didn't keep up start to feel a little out of place."
"Please don't make me the reason that you don't stick around", Riley asked, hoping that this didn't all start just because she was born.
"No, I'm the reason it's on me. Your parents are the best people I've ever met in my life."
"Then you should really love Riley. Because I love her. I mean...she's exactly like her parents."Shawn glanced at Maya for a second before looking down, before Riley realized something that she knew she should've earlier on. "He does love me."
"What?"
"He loves my parents and I come from them, so he loves me. He loves me so much that he can't even look at me."
"I'm right here", Shawn stated, reminding the two females of his presence.
