- fell asleep with you on the sand at a beach after you both stayed up talking the night you first met
- called you 'his perfect girl' as you lay in his arms
- promised to find you again and marry you in the future
- "i'm not marrying anyone unless it's you."
- stole one of your shirts
- wrote everything about you in a notebook
- confessed his love for you on your last night together.--
as the waves gently lap against the shore, you and him sit on the beach, the cool night air mingling with the warm sand beneath you. he pulls you close, wrapping his arms around your waist and pulling you onto his lap.
he rests his chin on your shoulder, his breath warm against your ear. "you know... i was just thinking," he murmurs, his fingers tracing small circles on your hip. "i think you're the most beautiful, perfect girl i've ever met."
his words are soft, yet filled with a sincere conviction that makes your heart skip a beat. he nuzzles his face into the crook of your neck, placing a tender kiss on your collarbone. "i mean it," he continues, his voice still low and gentle. "i have never met anyone like you. you're incredible."
he brushes his lips against your ear, his voice low and sultry. "we could continue speaking all night," he whispers, his breath hot against your skin. his hand skims up your bare thigh, the barest touch leaving a trail of fire in its wake.
his lips find yours in a soft, sensuous kiss, his tongue playing and exploring. you respond eagerly, your hands roaming over the expanse of his back, pulling him tightly against your body.
he murmurs against your mouth, his words barely a whisper. "it's not just our words that speak, you know," he says, "our touches, our caresses... they all say so much more than any words ever could."
--
the room is quiet, the only sound being the soft rustling of bedsheets and the occasional scratch of a pen against paper.
he lies beside you, his head propped on his hand as he writes in a notebook on his lap. his gaze alternates between the paper and your sleeping form, his eyes taking in every little detail about you. he observes the way your chest rises and falls, the way your hair drapes across the pillow, the small twitch of your nose every now and then.
he gazes intently at your sleeping form, a small smile playing on his lips as he jots down his thoughts in the notebook. he jots down notes, the words flowing from his pen onto the page effortlessly.
'she's so beautiful,' he writes, 'like a vision under the moonlight. her lips are slightly parted, and i can't help but want to press my own against them, to taste her sweetness again.'
he pauses for a moment before continuing, his thoughts drifting to his feelings for you. 'being with her makes me feel so alive,' he writes. 'i don't think i've ever felt this way about anyone before.'
he continues to write, his words pouring out onto the page. 'i love the way her eyes crinkle when she laughs,' he writes, 'and the way she looks at me like i'm the only person in the world. i love the sound of her voice, the feel of her skin, the way her body fits against mine like we're meant to be together.'
he pauses for a moment, his heart beating a bit faster as the truth of his feelings sink in. 'i think i'm falling in love with her.'
