"Heyyyyy." Stiles dragged out, as he jogged up to me.
As he tried to stop, his shoes slipped causing him to almost fall over.
"Woah." I grabbed him by his upper arm to try to steady him, without even thinking.
Stiles froze.
His dark eyes stared into mine deeply.
Damnnn his arms felt strong, muscular, hidden behind his clothes.
I seemed to freeze too, as I looked back into his eyes.
"You alright?" I asked him.
His eyes seemed to flutter a bit.
"Yeah, um... never better." He spoke, as his cheeks seemed to turn red.
He seemed almost fluttered, as I let my hand fall down to my side.
I waited for him to speak, as the two of us stood there awkwardly.
"Did you um... need something? You came up like you wanted to ask me something?" I asked him softly.
"I... um... yes..." Stiles struggled to find his words, as he looked over his shoulder.
"Hey!" Jackson called out to me from across the gym.
Jackson smiled, as he began walking over.
Stiles eyes grew wide as the sight of Jackson walking up to us.
"I've gotta go." Stiles quickly said, as he walked away.
"Looks like they have you roped into gym class too." Jackson said, as he stood at my side.
He watched Stiles wander away, before he spoke again.
"What did Stiles want?"
"I'm not really sure." I said back.
"Well anyways, that party this Saturday. I hope you can make it. It'd be really cool if you did. You can meet some people, get to hang out... bring a friend or two if you want." Jackson, rested his forearm on the top of my shoulder as he leaned over and talked to me.
"Well, I plan on coming. I haven't really made any friends, but I'll keep that in mind." I smiled.
"There should be plenty of drinks, so don't worry about bringing anything." He said back.
"Thanks." I told him again.
My eyes drifted to Stiles, who was watching Jackson's and I's conversation.
Stiles quickly turned his head away, pretending as if he wasn't watching or paying attention to us.
After gym was finished, my first day at school was officially done.
I sighed loudly, as I opened my locker.
I pulled my back pack out, as I dug around in it.
I shoved in the things I needed to used for homework, before I zipped it shut, and looped the strap over my shoulder.
I stood up, slamming my locker shut.
I jumped a bit, at the sight of Stiles standing behind my locker.
He quickly shoved his head into his locker, which of course happened to be next to mine.
"Ohhhh, I didn't see you there.... looks like we're neighbors." Stiles awkwardly joked, as his face turned red again.
"I see that." I said back.
Stiles quickly shut his locker.
He leaned up against the cold metal, with his mouth slightly opened.
"Are you going to say something, or are you just going to stare at me?" I chuckled.
"Yes, I... um- can I..." Stiles stumbled over his words again, as his voice fell quiet.
"What?" I asked him.
Stiles face turned even more red now.
"Bye." Stiles seemed to spit out, as he turned and quickly walked away.
I watched him walk down the hall as fast as he could, he didn't even turn back to look once.
"Alright?" I mumbled to myself, confused.
I walked through the busy school and out the front door.
I walked home quickly, ready to throw my backpack in the corner of my room and not think about it again until tomorrow.
I slowly opened the front door.
"Hello? Dad?" I announced my presence.
No response.
I stepped into the kitchen, peaking around the corner.
No one.
I walked over to his bedroom door and slowly opened.
No one.
I let out a sigh of relief knowing he wasn't home and that I would have the house alone for a while.
I went up to my room, tossing my bag on the floor, before flopping down on my bed.
My phone buzzed in my pocket.
As I pulled it out, I could see I had gotten a text.
This is Jackson :) I'll text you the address the night of the party.
I smiled, as I saved his contact.
Thank youuuuu :)
I messaged back.
After a while I ended up falling asleep, but I woke up a few later to a loud knock at my door.
I groaned, as I pushed myself out of bed.
It was about dark out now, as I walked down the stairs and to the front door.
I cracked the door just open enough to peak my head out.
"Hello." The Sheriff that stood on my porch said.
I let out a long sigh, as I stepped out onto the porch.
"Twice in one week, huh? What he do this time?" I asked.
"Passed out in the alleyway next to the bar again." The Sheriff said, as his partner out out of the car.
The Sheriff then walked over to the back seat of his car.
The two of them pulled my father out of the back seat, as they carried him over to my by his arms and his legs.
"Where do you want him?" The other one asked.
"Leave him on the porch. I'll carry him in the rest of the way." I told them, and the two of them set him down at my feet.
"You sure?" The Sheriff asked me, as he looked over at his partner.
"Yes, thank you." I told the two of them.
I watched as the two of them walked over to their car, getting in, and driving away.
I leaned over my dad for a moment.
"Looks like you're fucking sleeping on the porch." I huffed at him, as I stepped over him, and went into the house.
