☆Zyron’s pov ☆

I entered one of the empty guest room to see Cecilia, my mother sat by the couch in the dimly lit room.

Her eyes, once bright and vibrant, now dull and haunted.
"Zyron, my son," she whispered.

My anger wrestled with curiosity.
"Why return now?" I demanded.

Her gaze dropped.

"I didnt have a choice I was forced to leave" Cecilia answered.

My skepticism deepened.
"Why so?" I asked.

Elara hesitated.
"The Order" she whispered.

My confusion deepened.
"What's the Order?" I asked.

Her eyes filled with pain.
"The Order is a secret organization... controlling the Mafia from the shadows" she answered.

"How comes I wasn't aware of this?" I asked.

"Many who are involved don't know of the Order" Cecilia stated.

"Does Giovanni know?" I asked.

She nodded.
"Your father's corrupt, Zyron. When last have you've seen him?" She asked.

Zyron's mind reeled.
"A while now" I confessed.
"What do they want?"

Cecilia hesitated.
"The Russians... they're making deals with the Order"

My eyes narrowed.
"What kind of deals?"

My mother's voice dropped.
"They're trading children... for power" she said.

Her tears flowed.
"I've seen it, Zyron. I was taken by the Order's leaders."

My world crumbled.
"You were... alive all along?"

She nodded.
"Your father didn't know. He thought I was dead, too, thats what hurt him the most he thought the order had killed me"

"But that's impossible that night I watch you die, I was there when those mask man shot you" I said even more confused than ever.

"I wasn't dead honey" she replied.

My anger boiled.
"Why didn't you escape?"

Cecilia gaze fell.
"I tried, I really tried"

I went over and stoop down infront of my mother, I look up at her.

"I thought is was my fault" I cried.

"Oh baby, is was never your fault" she says.

Her arms wrapped around me tightly,
"I missed you so much mama" I said.

"Me too, I hated myself when I couldn't get to you and Aria, I live with regret everyday I was in those cells"

"But how did you escape?" I asked.
"A little choas that began with the order" she says.

"Will they come after us?" I asked worried for the reply.

" Not you, they don't want you, but they want the Russian heads" she said and I sigh in relief.

My emotions swirled.
Cecilia then handed me a small folder and a USB drive.

"I managed to get a hold of these before I escape, it holds everything you need to help you my son"

Photographs.

Documents.

Incriminating evidence.

My eyes widened.
"This changes everything" I said.
