Siddharth was deep in thought after hearing Ishan's words. He was shocked at how someone had trapped them so calculatedly, manipulating every step to perfection.

On the other hand, Ishan sat with his head bowed, tears welling in his eyes, fighting not to fall, but barely holding them back. Every passing second felt like a crushing weight on his chest. He had just realized that Sunny was Siddharth, Aadhriti's cousin. Now, all he wanted was to find her, to beg for her forgiveness, to hold her, and to love her. He knew the wound he had inflicted was deep and not easily healed, but he was determined to do anything and everything to earn her forgiveness and love.

But before he could even think about that, he needed to uncover the truth. Who was behind all of this? If it wasn’t Sunny, then who?

Because if he let this conversation slip away like all the previous ones, he knew he would regret it more than anything. He could feel it in his gut — this wasn’t over, and leaving it unresolved could prove dangerous in the future.

After a few minutes of palpable silence, Sunny finally spoke, breaking the tense atmosphere. “Ishan… can you—can you tell me something more? Like, what kind of texts were they? What kind of pictures did you receive that made you doubt her so much?”

Ishan froze. There it was — the reason for everything. The texts, the pictures, the voice recordings. They had been the root of it all, the poison that had seeped into his mind and heart. He sat rigid, replaying every moment of how those messages had manipulated him, convincing him that she loved someone else. With each one, he had been pushed further, forced to take steps that only led to losing her more and more.

The tears that Ishan had been holding back in front of Siddharth finally began to spill, trailing down his face as the memories of the past twelve days replayed in his mind. Memories that had haunted him, every hour, every minute, every damn second.

"Yeah," he managed to whisper, his voice barely audible. "How can I forget them?" He fell silent again, his chest constricting with unbearable pain. His throat felt tight, his breaths shallow and labored just from the mention of those memories. That night—that night came flooding back to him. The night he had faced his first-ever panic attack.

For the first time, Ishan Oberoi, the man who always had control over his emotions, who knew how to remain composed even in the most tense family situations, had completely lost it. He had lost everything when it came to her.
