An Optimus Prime x reader story.
It's five years after the Decepticon invasion of Chicago, the Autobots were originally granted sanctu...
"We have intercepted the encrypted communications. Joshua Joyce is heading for his factory in Guangzhou, China." Drift says.
You use a burner phone to call Joyce. "Hey, big shot. Your company is in serious trouble."
"You better have a damn good lawyer."
"Really? You better have a great one, because you're about to be responsible for the annihilation of a city. Now, you listen to me. Your tech has been hacked. Your prototype is infected. Galvatron is after that seed. Look, I know you have a conscious, because you're an inventor like me. Do not let Galvatron anywhere near that seed."
"I control Galvatron. I created him."
"Deep down, I know you know, that your prototype has been controlling you." You hang up.
...
On the ship you walk over to where Optimus is sitting, looking thoughtful. You take a seat beside him, he only glances at you.
"When you said you were done fighting for the humans.. you didn't mean that, did you?"
Optimus gives you an angry look. "How many more of my kind must be sacrificed to atone for your mistakes?" He says and stand up, feeling the need to pace again.
"What do you think being human means? That's what we do. We make mistakes. And sometimes from those mistakes come the most amazing things." You say, he stops and looks at you. "When I fixed you, it was for a reward. I was doing it for money. That was me making a mistake. But without it, you wouldn't be here."
He looks away for a moment as he thinks about what you're saying.
"So even if you don't have faith in us, I'm asking you to do what I do. I'm asking you to look at all the junk, and see the treasure. To have faith, Optimus, in what we can be." You say,
He doesn't respond and only stare to you, just standing there. You start fiddling with the alien gun you took from Lockdown's ship.

Reaching China you get to Joyce location and they fly the ship over the roof he is hiding on. Opening the hangar door and you step out, shouting for him. "Joshua!"
He waves. "Hey!"
"Bring it over! Let's go!" You shout, seeing him with the bag containing the seed. "Hurry up, run!"
"Looks like we're about to have company." Hound says, seeing the prototypes. Stinger transforms and fire at the ship.
You, Bumblebee and Hound fall out of the ship. The ship gets thrown off and crashes toward the outside of the city.
"Optimus." You say worriedly.
"He'll be fine. Us, on the other hand." Hound says. "I count ten below."
You turn to Joyce angrily. "I thought you had one prototype infected."
"No, he got operational control of my other 50." He sighs.
"Come on." You say and lift the seed with him.
Galvatron orders his bots to climb. The Autobots try to hold them off as you and Joyce run with the seed. You dodge a few missiles aimed at you.
"Elevator!" You say and open the door to it. Before the door closes gunshots get fired inside it and you flinch, barely dodging it. You see Savoy now on the roof, his gun aimed in your direction. "Close the door!"
"It won't!" Joyce says.
You look at the heavy seed. "It's too much weight." You step out, hoping your weight is just enough to let the seeds and Joyce get down. "Hey! You want me?" You shout to distract Savoy.
As Joyce gets down with the elevator, Savoy chases after you. Catching up he tackles you, but loses his gun. You get up and run, him close behind. As you run, you grab anything you can and throw it back at him. You slip and fall down but grab on to something before you fall to your death.

"That's a long way down." Savoy says and kick an air vent to fall on you.
"You gotta be kidding me." You say and let do before it hits you. You grab on to anything as you fall and manage to get to a stop, holding on to the wall.
"I'm coming for you!" He shouts and turning, he is right there and tackle you through a window and crashing inside an apartment.
Getting to your feet you grab a bowl and punch him with it. The two of you get into a fist fight. He's taken slightly aback by your strength. But then gets you in a chokehold. You struggle to breathe. You reach to his face and poke your finger into his eye, and he grunts. Head knocking him he falls down but soon gets back up on his feet, giving you a deadly look. You breathe heavily, panting.
"You never should have hidden that truck."
"You should've never come after me."
He pulls out his knife. You grab a football on a shelf right by you and hit him in the face. Him momentarily being distracted, you pound your body hard into him and he gets pushed into and crashes through the window, then falling down to the ground. You hear him exclaiming for a long moment and then a thud at the bottom. You breathe heavily as you look at the broken window, realising you just killed someone. You turn and leave the apartment, getting down to the ground yourself you find Joyce and the Autobots.
"We have a dilemma here. I created incredible robots. They're all designed to kick that fat transformers ass." Joyce says, pointing at Hound. "This is really a no win situation."
Hound calls Optimus. "Optimus what is the orders with this bold guy? Can I squish him?"
"Is Yn okay?"
"Yeah, she's got the seed."
"It's time for reinforcements."
Optimus go to free the Dinobots.
...
"Stay behind me, I'm covering ya! If I stop covering you, it means I'm dead. But that ain't gonna happen." Hound says as you take cover behind a wall with Joyce.
Hound and Bumblebee fights off the approaching prototype bots.
"Come on, we gotta go!" You take the seed with Joyce and go to a building to hide. As you get in Joyce looks around and then throws his hands up in disbelief.
"Oh, this is the perfect place to hide, a big glass box!" He says gesturing to all the windows. "Nobody will ever find us here!"
