Chapter TWENTY-ONE

"You mean to tell me that you're currently staying with Ni-ki?!? In his house?!" Hani exclaimed as I told her everything that happened over the call.
"Don't need to overreact girl. Relax." I replied casually.
"I'm not! It's just that....I know Ni-ki's intentions are pure and I understand 'cause you're already 24 but...I'm just worried about you. Your life's been in danger ever since..." 
"I know, Hani. It's not like I'm not aware. But Ni-ki's been good to me so nothing has happened to me yet so it's all good. If you have time mind if you drop by the bakery to check how's it going?"
"Sure I'll drop by later!"
"Anyway, as I was saying..." Hani and I continued talking while I'm laying on the bed with my feet up on the wall when suddenly the door slammed open, revealing Ni-ki with a messy look and blooded shirt.
"Ni-ki? What happ--Jesus!" I dropped my phone and immediately went to catch him in my arms as soon as he collapsed. My eyes widened at the sight of his blooded black. "Jesus Christ, Ni-ki! What happened to you?!" 
"Got into a fight." His voice was barely audible. I bet he forced his way home. Just to get home. 
"Omy God. Um...okay...uh..." I tried calming myself even though my hand is shaking terribly. I don't know what to do, I'm panicking. Shall I call his friends? I don't know their numbers. 
Calm down, Serena. Get it together. You need to focus.
Ni-ki is trying his best to stay awake but he is dozing off, probably for losing too much blood. 
"Stay with me, Ni-ki. Keep your eyes open. What's your phone password?" I held his cheek and tapped it lightly to keep him awake.
"1209."
I typed his password and it went in. I immediately went to contacts to search for any of his friends in the messages.
To: Kimura Yoshi
bar 1808. after this, leave my girl alone.
Wait? Did he meet that guy who threatened me and my bakery?! Did that guy do this to Ni-ki? 
Focus. You need to call his friends. H...Heeseung? I remember him.
4 rings before Heeseung finally picked up, "Yo Ni-ki."
"Hi, this is Serena. I need help, Ni-ki's hurt. Can you please come to his apartment asap. Please." I tried my best to hold back my tears. Ni-ki is trying his best to hold my hand. 
"What?! What happened?!"
"I..I don't know there's blood everywhere please."
"Okay okay. Be there in 10. Tell Ni-ki to hang." Then he ended the call. 
"Ah. Fuck." Ni-ki whimpered as he is in pain. His back looks so painful. "I need you to do something for me. Go to the bathroom, open the bottom drawer, there's a needle, stitch, bandaid and antiseptic solution for infection. Get it." 
I nodded and did as he I was told. 
"Come here." He motioned me to come closer and held both of my hands. "You need to stitch my back as I am loosing too much blood."
