Chapter 17 "Mother?!"

                                    

                                          
Wednesday August 26th, 2027
3rd POV
Another beautiful morning at the Island Resort, Xylo and Cal have already gotten dressed for the day. Cal put on a white button up shirt, a pair of blue shorts and sandals. Xylo put on a light purple shirt with slightly darker blue and white flowers unbuttoned, a dark grey shirt underneath, a pair of grey shorts, and a pair of sandals as well.
They decided to head to the breakfast bar at the hotel since it's probably one of the few places to eat. Xylo had some eggs, bacon, some toast, and of course coffee. Cal had some eggs as well, sausage links, and hash browns.
While they were chatting at breakfast, Xylo forgot to get some butter for his toast so he went to go get it. Although while Xylo was gone, Cal saw something strange. 
Another man with sunglasses, the same outfit Xylo was wearing but in orange and yellow, walks past Cal.
The weirdest thing about this man was that he looked like a copy of Xylo. Cal rubbed his eyes and thought "Did Xylo just walk by, or was that my imagination? It probably was in my head especially since Xylo is wearing blue not orange...."
Cal's thoughts were interrupted by Xylo saying "Sorry about that, but I got the butter and some ketchup in case you wanted any."
"Thank you Xylo" Cal said a little uneasy.
Xylo notices Cal's expression and asks "Is everything alright?"
"Oh uhm yeah, just thinking" Cal muttered.
"Alright then.....Well after breakfast should we head to the beach or go to the carnival?" Xylo asked
"Let's go to the beach first, then the fairground" Cal said. The two finished their breakfast and went off to the beach. The two finally arrived and set their stuff down at a spot. A few minutes later after setting up their spot, they heard two women arguing.....
Xylo's POV
We finally found a spot and started to set things up, although we hear some people arguing and one of the voices sounded familiar.
Cal points out "Say don't one of the people arguing sound like your adoptive mother?"
We look turn towards the sound and see two women arguing, one of them had a large white hat and the other had red hair. We decided to walk towards the two to hear what's going on.
"When will you take the stupid case?!" The woman with red hair yelled.
"I told you Karen, I am on vacation and I would like to be left ALONE!" The woman with a familiar voice said.
"UGH! If you're a lawyer, Help me sue the company that got my husband killed!!" Karen screamed.
"Once again I am on vacation woman, FIND A DIFFERENT LAWYER!!!" The woman yelled.
"FINE! I'LL MAKE SURE YOU NEVER GET ANY CLIENTS HMPH!" Karen shouted as she finally left.
Cal and I walked closer to the woman sitting down and she mumbled "Gosh, I swear I have to have one person trying to get me to work."
We got a better look at her face and we were extremely surprised. "Mother/Enola?!" Cal and I exclaimed.
The woman turned her head towards us and said "Xylo, Cal! What a surprise to see you here, I thought you both were at Camp Oasis still."
