𝐓𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝟑:𝟒𝟔𝐏𝐌Vera sprung up in a cold sweat, vision distorted and blurry as she blinked a few times to regain her eyesight. Confined among the four walls of a dark and unfamiliar room, her mind was blank. Her arms and legs were tied and she had absolutely no recollection of the last few hours.
In attempt to lift her body, she was met with a sharp pain in her abdomen. Teeth clenched, she let out a small wince when rediscovering her stab wound from last night, and then it all came back to her.
The auction, her fight in the bathroom with Psalm and him stabbing her—but somehow, her wound was now bandaged.
Vera looked down to find that not only had she been patched up and given stitches, but her clothes were also changed. Someone had been taking care of her.
The sound of the heavy metal door startled her, chest heaving up and down in a panic. Vera wasn't sure who would come walking in, but she did know one thing. She was vulnerable at the moment, and that was never a good thing.
To no surprise, in came her new found arch nemesis, Psalm. He was still dressed in last night's attire, except he wore his shirt half unbuttoned and his sleeves rolled. It made Vera wonder how long she had actually been out. She wasn't sure if just a few hours had passed, or a few days.
