Third person POV:
Allison Cameron was having a bad day. It started off with something normal, her morning routine. She ran out of toothpaste and had to use House's. Then, she accidentally burnt the toast while making the toast for breakfast, which resulted in her being late to work.
Other than that, House seemed to enjoy hanging out with Stacy once a week—she didn't know what to do anymore.
Cameron walked to the hospital, although it was a 30 minutes walk, tired and sweaty, as House was still asleep in bed and couldn't give her a ride. She had clinic duty at 11:30, early in the morning, right after she put down her things in the diagnostic department, she headed down to the clinic.
She saw at least 50 eyes of patients staring at her, waiting in the line in the clinic. She sighed, and continued with her day. Unfortunately for her, there were several difficult and stubborn patients.
One of them was a 57 year old woman, named Mary Gilmore, who complained that her leg muscles hurt like hell after she went bowling and went running a 25 kilometres marathon with her friends the day before. Cameron tried to explain that it was because she hasn't done exercise for quite a while, therefore, her muscles would ache for a few days. However, she refused to believe her—a doctor, that there was nothing wrong with her at all.
Additionally, there were several teenagers who came to the clinic asking for birth control pills, and asking for a blood test for pregnancy. The stressed young doctor agreed after lots of nagging from them.
Cameron headed to House's office after the clinic duty, expecting to see only Chase and Foreman there, and House being late. A surprise awaited her as she saw House and Stacy inside, Stacy standing very close to him, beaming with joy.
"What's going on?" She asked, confused. House grinned and told her, "Stacy is going to work in this hospital as our lawyer. I was giving her a tour of the office."
Stacy smiled at Dr. Cameron innocently, "Hello, Dr. Cameron. Nice to see you again. Congratulations on your success in the court."
Cameron nodded, uncomfortable with the conversation, and proceeded to make some coffee. She handed House his, but to her horror, he gave it to Stacy instead, "Here, drink it. I already got some this morning before work."
Cameron shook her head, thinking, He lied when he told me he loved me. I don't know what's gotten into him. Maybe he's trying to make me jealous. She fought back tears, biting her lip, and going to the lab that she always went to whenever she had troubles.
House rolled his eyes, "Well, go to the lab like you always do, I don't care." Luckily for Cameron, she wasn't facing him, so he didn't see tears rolling down her face.
She headed to the lab, sitting down on a stool. She hugged her knees and cried to herself. House seemed to no longer love her, after the whole raping thing ended. She decided if House was going to play games with her, she would play with him.
She stood up, went to the bathroom to freshen up, and walked back to the office. House was obviously shocked that she came back but hid it well. Stacy sat beside him as they talked. Cameron went to sort the mail like she always did, and filling in some of House's paperwork. Chase soon entered, working on his crossword, and Foreman entered too, reading a medical article while drinking some coffee.
Cameron's POV
We didn't have any cases. I was bored, and since Foreman found his article boring, he talked with me and House.
"So...did House manage to arrive earlier than I did?" Foreman asked.
"Yes, isn't that strange?" I answered, and he nodded. We both knew his was getting closer to Stacy, and I didn't want that to happen. Stacy wasn't a bad person, but someday, she had to let go of House and moved on.
