spotted: hickeys on golden boy and bass princess. there definitely is something going on between them- why hide it? don't want daddy to know? don't want chuck to find out?
the gossip girl blast rang out at school. everyone pulled their phones out to see gossip girl's newest gossip. "i don't get why gossip girl only targets nate and i, why??" beth complains to blair. "you guys are literally perfect gossip. not dating, but totally interested in each other, playing hard to get. i totally understand why y'all are targeted." blair explains. "can't you do something worth gossip? you usually are a big target for gossip girl- or serena. i just want a break." elizabeth explains. "if it makes you feel any better, both your dad and chuck have to know something is going on between you and nate- meaning gossip girl is wrong about part of it" blair tries to console. "it doesn't make me feel better. my dad hates me and the one time i see him he sees nate on top of me. what an impression!" elizabeth cringes. a little bit later at lunch chuck, blair, nate , and elizabeth were sat at one of the tables together. "so, the ivy fair is today after school. everybody has their sights set?" chuck questions. "princeton all the way!" e states. "you already know my sights are set on yale!" blair adds. "nate, what about you?" chuck asks. outside of constance and st. judes many stations were set up for the ivy fair. students could pick up applications, ask questions and possibly get opportunities for scholarships. elizabeth was the first student at the princeton table. she took the opportunity to talk with the representative and see what kind of scholarships were available and also asked the questions she had regarding the schooling. shortly after, chuck and nate showed up. "good afternoon gentlemen, you are interested in attending princeton?" the representative asks. "yes sir, a lifetime dream if you will. how many openings do you have for scholarships for next year?" nate questions. "well we have four openings for scholarships, 2 boys, 2 girls. but that is between all applicants in constance and st judes" he explains. "okay, great. where can we get scholarship applications and normal applications?" chuck asks. "for the lady" he gestures to the two piles to the left of him. "and for you, gentlemen" he gestures to the right two piles. all three teenagers picked up their applications and headed over to the stage where blair was about to make her speech. nate and elizabeth were getting looks from many other students due to the gossip girl blast but they tried to pay no attention to them. blair takes the stage and begins talking about the ostroff center and then saying how one of our own has seeked help there. "could serena ban der woodsen please come up and share what the ostroff center has done for her issues" blair smirks, but covers it up with a sympathetic smile. nate and elizabeth were shocked that serena had been in the ostroff center. "was that where she went when she disappeared for that year?" elizabeth whispers to nate. "i'm not sure, this is the first i've heard of this." nate replies. serena goes on stage and gives a short speech, quickly getting off stage after and leaving the school grounds. blair steps down off the stage and heads towards her friends. "hey guys!" blair smiles. "we had no idea serena was at the ostroff center, she's okay now?" elizabeth asks b. "i think so, she got the help she needed" blair says quietly. "on a lighter note, would you guys come to a party if i through one tonight?" chuck asks pushing aside the previous conversation. "really chuck? doesn't that feel kind of insensitive?" elizabeth questions. "listen, serena won't want everyone to feel sorry for what she went through, she doesn't want the attention. plus we should be celebrating the fact that the ivy fair is over" chuck explains himself. "what is the theme?" blair asks. "i was thinking just a black tie style, but obviously the party won't be overly elegant" chuck describes. "i'm in" nate nods. "well if he is, then me too" beth smiles. "you already know i'm in." blair agrees. "dad is away on business again so the party will be at the penthouse 8:00" chuck says, walking away. "i'll pick you up at 7:30?" nate smiles/ asks. "sure nate, that would be great!" elizabeth returns the smile. she kisses his cheek then links arms with blair as they start walking to her limo. nate knew he really liked the girl but was too nervous to ask her out.
