As soon as I entered, I immediately walk towards the last desk: it was in my nature to do nothing for the whole lesson. Or I also liked to make a mess.

There were only two desks at the back: mine and that of another boy. He had a cap with the visor moved to the side, a golden ring necklace and a cigarette in his mouth (despite the ban).

<Hey baby, do you like being at the bottom too?> he said to me.

<Yes, but I don't like those that smell like smoke> I cut it short, smiling at him.

He was upset, taking the cigarette out of his mouth. I always did it: I didn't like giving false hopes. If I liked you okay, if I didn't like you you had to disappear. Anyone who tries with me could understand it immediately. But I preferred it that way; breaking hearts first would have taken away the effort later.

Suddenly, a familiar face enters. Short-sleeved t-shirt with the words "I'm in love with my car", even if he is still underage to drive. Blonde, messy hair and a rebellious look. He walked looking everyone up and down, heading towards the last benches.

<Go away> he ordered, looking at the boy next to me.

<Who? Me?> he asked fearfully.

<No, your mother's whore>.

The boy turned pale.

<W-why don't you ask her?> he stammered, pointing at me.

Roger looked into my eyes examining me. His fearless expression was something indescribable.

<Come on dude. Be a fucking gentleman!> he then concluded.

<No, I'm not moving>.

At that point, the blond boy looked at me laughing, seeking my approval. Then he leaned with both hands on the other man's desk, looking him straight in the eyes.

<You're obviously new! Here's your fist lesson: I'm Roger Taylor and you have to respect me. You choose: either you get your fucking ass out of that chair, or I'll do it for you>.

Shortly after, I was sitting next to Taylor. I wasn't sure what to do: even my character had a hard time going out near someone like him. It was a very strange effect.

<What's your name?> he asked, looking at me with interest.

<Jessie Hyde, newly transferred>

<You're new but you're smart. And very lucky too> he replied laughing.

<what do you mean?>

<I want to say that you should consider yourself lucky to be next to me. I can protect you from everything and everyone; and then who knows what will happen... > He explained, looking at me with malice. I was only able to utter a laugh.

But I sensed that it bothered him a lot that I didn't take him fully seriously. In short, I had seen clearly that he was one of the boys who control that school. And I knew well that he was always surrounded by girls at his feet; therefore, I firmly believed that not being the center of attention bothered him a lot.

<Alright guys. I'd say we can start with the math lesson> the teacher began to say.

A general groan arose from the class.

<What a drag! But it's the first fucking day!> Roger towered over the others.

<I'm sorry about you Taylor. Why don't you start seeing teaching as an enjoyable thing? It's as if he were watching a documentary on TV!> she told her in kind.
